I rated this drama 5 stars eventhough it has several glitches in the timing of the storyline. But, it was still a good drama for me. There were some funny moments and very moving moments. I like Park Shi Hoo! He is one of my favorite Korean astors--he has killer smile!!!!!

Jang Hyuk is a very good actor!

I enjoyed every minute of this drama!

I will never forget this kdrama! This series is the very reason why I'm hooked with kdramas! Thank you for crafting this beautiful and captivating historical kdrama!

One of my favorite kdramas (and my husband, too!)! One of the best I should say! Good acting and story line. Thank you!

One thing I hate in some Korean dramas is how they portray some "bad" parents who just want to keep their wealth among themselves by marrying off their kids to other wealthy and reputable families. I know that this is a fact of life. It happens anywhere whether you are in the Americas, Asia, Europe, or Africa. People are just basically greedy in nature. However, good prevails evil! Tak Gu had a hard life growing up but he is resilient and full of hope that he will someday find his mom and live a good life. There is some flaws in the story line but it is a good kdrama. Thank you! I have yet to finish the whole series yet! Just finished watching the whole thing--I liked the ending with their emphasis on "family" relationships come first (except in Seo In Seok's case). It is a warm and captivating kdrama--the master baker/teacher of Pal Bong Bakery had so many good insights on how to treat human being--giving second chance, etc, Good job to all the actors who portrayed their character very well!

Me and my husband enjoyed this kdrama! Very funny and entertaining! I just don't like the part about the "evil mother-in-law"---I like the acting but not the reality that it's part of the culture---or maybe exaggeration of the truth. Anyway, I gave five stars because I truly enjoyed the movie. They could crafted a better ending though.

Very engaging historical movie! The actors are really good! The actor as Ddol Bok (also in Chuno and Thank You) is a very good actor. The king is very clever!! So exciting to find quality Korean dramas! Thank you! You will not be disappointed with the story line and the acting of all the actors. This Korean drama is entertaining and educational--my knowledge of Korean history is getting "deeper."

I am captivated with this kdrama! Jang Hyuk is so hot! I like the story line so far!

I love this historical drama. The main characters portrayed their roles very well! Park Shi Hoo and Moon Chae Won (and the rest of the characters) did such a wonrderful job! I LOVE Park Shi Hoo! He is so cute! I love his grin! I like Moon Chae's role here. I didn't like her in Shining Inheritance. I hope they win a lot of awards. The scripwriter, directors, and the rest of the crew deserve at least a few awards. Thank you!
