In this instants it not only hurt it is like having your teeth pulled with a chisel and hanmer. Simmply put it has been right painful to watch this drama. The long stares and dilogue are killers and the four main characters look as if they have been baptise in vingar and ween on deel pickles, they look as if they are mad with the world or so utterly Sad they are bout to cry an ocean. this is too much, I must move on.
This has it all, action, comedy, suspense, and drama. If this wasn't a hit when it came out, It should have been.
The action, characters, locations, and most of all the story was the best. I hope to see the continuation in the near future.. I have concluded that Seung Hee is the daughter of Mr Black, Her father was the founder of the NSS, according to Seung Hee. she also said her father was executed for the president's assassination, but I don't think so, but he escaped and went into hiding becoming the leader of IRIS. We know Kim Sun Hwa is the one who pull the trigger to shoot kim Hyun Joon, we know she left North Korea and settle down in New Zealian, her husband and child was killed by North Korea. Now she want Revenge against North Korea, There are so many questions about the two female characters, Hwa why did she shoot Hyun Joon, was she a member of Iris or Athena? Is Seung Hee a Iris operative, I once believe she was, but after watching it again, I concluded that she was shielded by the Director and Mr Black.. These are my speculations, please hurry up with Iris 2.
Maybe I am missing something, but it seems that he learned to love his step sister as a daughter not as girlfriend, when he was at her school he told her if there is anything you need, let me know, not as a boyfriend, but as a father figure. When she was washing dishes with one of his partners and they were planning his birthday party he seemed to be jealous because he was taking his place as oppa and he made some smart remark about them looking like father daughter. I loved it and way it ended, she and the young boy were getting really close/.
I really enjoyed this romantic comedy up until the last two episodes. As a viewer I was pulling for Pillar over Cha Chi soo. That really is my only complaint, but beside that , I really enjoyed this series, the comedy and acting was great.
Romance-Yes, Comedy- some, not much, To me it was a great story on true love, It show the counterfeit Love, once the new is gone and the passion wangs the interest goes somewhere else, the Korne greek term is "Eros", then you have the love where one becomes the defender and stand in the shadow always being the wind beneath the wings, the strong but gentle hands to softing the fall and help the weak to get up to stand on their own two feet., the Korne Greek term is "Philos" a true friend, then there the love in which one is willing to lose everthing even one's own life, the mother not willing to give up her baby to save her life, the young man willing to give up is hertiage to be with the woman his family deem unfit (In the end they accept Her as their daughter in Law), the Korne Greek term is "Agape", this is rare and hard to find love, in our modern times. This to me was more Melodrama, a tear jerker. All in all I love it, five star!
Harry is more like Clark, Clark Kent that is. I loved his character, he was a man with courage, intelligence, moral fortitude out of this world. Maria said it best at the end when she hug him on the hospital bed, she thank him for lovin her and for being a good man. Hey this even had a good ending and all the bad guys got their just due. So I give this mini series with a possible score of one to Ten. My score is a fifteen, I loved it, and it was because of the character "Harry".
I liked the drama, but it seems all korean Drama that deals with action or History always has terrible ending. The good guy ends up dying and the bad guy go to prison and gets out and ends up living happy every after, while the love of the good guy ends up dying or living alone in misery. Hey guys there nothing wrong by letting the good guy win and live happy ever after.
I am Irish American, but I have fell in love with Korean Drama, be it historical or action, they have alot of good things to teach us about ourselves. I am a big Superman fan, that's the reason for my username "fanoftheman". If I may quote the adopted mother of Superman AKA Marthra Kent "the world needs it's heroes, because they give us hope and inspire us to be better than we are". Illjimae Returns was that type of hero, he gave his countries' down trodden hope, and his greatest love " the willingness to lay down his life for another, that they may experience all the goodness life can offer, yet, as any hero he sufferred alot of tragedy. He had only a brief time to know his mother, and losing his friends as the Lieut who sacrifice himself so he could fullfill his promise to Illjimae's mother ,Mr Bae, and his first love Dal and her father his master. This was truly a classic, and I hope this will become a periodic series of our hero in the future.
Very Very Interesting
This hast to be the best drama this year. These last episodes have kept me on the edge of seat and with the ending of ep 18 and no preveiws for ep 19 and 20, I will be on pins and needles waitng for the conclusion next week. . Ep 19 was sad and exciting setting up for a great conclusion. This drama will go down alone with IRIS as my two most favorourite Drama of all Time
