Just when I was starting to think this show was going to be really good, it lapsed into a typical Korean crime show: full of intellectual holes on which the drama unfolds, in this case, Officer Oh disappears into a dark tunnel following the bad guys, not calling in and asking for back-up and then the disregarded plea. Not to mention, in all these shows no one calls for an ambulance immediately, injured people are shaken, moved, just sloppy, by US standards. All these shows, historical and modern, have similar plot cliches: interesting the first time, but then after a while, groan. Also, native speaker should proofread for grammar, spelling,usage,idioms,etc.. After all that, thanx to Heavens Subbing Squad for all their work. I'd be glad to proof read, be a school marm!! Ep 3: getting lamer.
I skimmed through the reviews, but didn't see anyone comment on the ridiculous subtitling. Hulu's are better. I don't know if the Korean spoken is this stilted, but the archaic English reads like the writer had his nose in one dictionary too many for archaic usages, and some of them are even inaccurate. Aigoo!!
