I enjoyed Bae Soo Bin in a top roll. Lee So Yeon is best when she portrays a woman you love to hate. The revenge went a bit over the top towards the end and there was sooooo much crying.....it began to be numbing. It was worth watching, however, to see how it all played out.
Finished yesterday. Incredibly good drama! It evokes an array of emotions from total joy, to peace at heart, to quiet loving on the positive side and also hatred, revenge, and intense saddness on the other. The actors did a superb job and the entire story was well written. I was ESPECIALLY pleased at the twist in the love relationships and how they ended....JUST RIGHT.
Cute story; Cute actors; English translation made it difficult to really discern what was going on and the emotions - made it seem stiff. I know its a difficult job but this one was tough to understand. Also, no closure at the end.
Just finished 2nd viewing. After having seen 45+ Kdramas, THIS IS THE BEST OF ALL!!! The depth of character development, balance of intensity with lightheartedness, amazing scenery, emotionally moving music, and absolutely TOP ACTING makes this NUMBER ONE FOR ME!
It was one of the BEST kdramas I have seen! The writer weaves in new and old characters and solves problems in quite a realistic way. The acting is excellent - makes you wish that place existed so you could visit too. Though I don't understand Korean, I loved the background music AND where can I get recipes for that food?!!
Although I do agree with some of the criticisms of the character's inconsistencies, it was a mostly lighthearted romance with a sweet, albeit predictable ending.
Very creative weaving of multiple relationships with enough intrigue to draw you into the drama, enough lightheartedness to break the intensity of the intrigue, and just a light touch of romance. I would like to have seen Lee Si Young look more feminine at some point but the ending was worth it.
Enjoyable story; more for younger folks;not really believable but different enough to watch and see what happens.
Watched this after Chuno to see Jang Hyuk again. His role as a harsh but caring man was somewhat similar to Chuno but the drama was quite sad throughout. All in all, a quality show. THANKS.
I only watched this to see Oh Ji Ho, whose God-given looks and talents are not missed in anything he acts in. Yet, this was an endearing story of someone who rose above difficulty while maintaining integrity. GREAT DRAMA.
Great story. Very enjoyable combo of romance and action that held my interest all the way through. LOVED IT.

Though I didn't really like the main actor - he played his part quite well. Overall this was an amazingly well done show with intense drama and emotion that held my interest to the end.
It drew you in from the beginning and held you throughout the entire show. The emotion was believable and intense - excellent acting! LOVED IT ALL.

except for the ending. It was goofy in the beginning and light-hearted. It would have been nice to end it that way but the plot got too serious. The acting was TOPS, the music was great - but the ending was a big disappointment.

This was a very light drama with just a tiny bit of conflict. It did lose something in that the romantic conflicts were all the same but it was nice to follow the romance into marriage, family relationships and family-on-way. Though I can't speak Korean at all, I really liked the personal touch at the end. Thanks for the drama and the translations.
I wish we couldn't see the reviews about the last episode or end when we haven't gotten there. I am enjoying the good acting and story line, and I always enjoy a happy ending so hoping it will be one.
I hated the ending with so many having to die, and the extensive gore and blood were a bit much to deal with, however, it was one of the best dramas I have seen, right up there with Chuno and Dong Yi. The acting was incredibly good.
Romance of the prince & princess was frustrating and due to all the difficulties encountered, I felt the ending should have been treated more in detail, rather than a quick resolve on the last episode. It did hold my attention all the way through and I felt the acting was quite good. Thanks to all for the entertainment!
Well written storyline....good twist on love triangle....great resolution. LOVED THE ENDING......better than most. Lee Min Ki was annoying but in an adorable way. Many thanks to the translators!
Just finished. Too many tears-too little conversation. Unbelievable events (same guy hit by car twice- are u kidding me!). Acting is stiff. Smoking is gross and totally unnecessary. The happy ending saved it for me. NOT THE BEST KDRAMA I HAVE SEEN.
Just finished it. Light-hearted and Romantic - the kind I really enjoy. Fav part was when she was trying to carry Grandma into the house.
I watch my fav parts over and over again. Incredibly good acting, casting, plots! Hated to see it end and didn't really like the ending that much...but what a GREAT DRAMA! THANKS....AND THANKS FOR THE ENG SUBS
I am now on ep12 and am also becoming disappointed; too much reality here....a man too weak to kindly but firmly end with one woman and too weak to keep from giving in to another woman....glad he's not mine! PS I am also not happy with the reality of "today's morality", even though it fits; I want the fairytale!
Enough conflict to hold your interest; enough romance to hope for a good ending! Just finished ep 37....I feel there is plenty of twists and complications added to the basic love triangle to hold my interest through all these episodes. The acting is great too.
