Wow. That kiss. I mean, that was a real kiss. Like for real. Lips moved. Daebak. From start to finish this drama was GAH!!! (translates to really, really good). I wish he had found a way to come back permanently, keep his alien bad-assery, but have a human life and human life span. It's not like he's a vampire. He can't exactly turn Song Yi into an alien so they can live together forever... or can he? Ooooh! Wait. Writers? Holla! I've got some good ideas for the Season 2 you SO need to have. LOL. I wanted to see Hee Kyung move on. He's a wonderful guy and he deserves to be happy. They tried to redeem Se Mi, but I still think she's an opportunistic backstabber and she only got friendly when Song Yi's career got revived. The actress playing Song Yi was phenomenal. She was equal parts hilarious and heart wrenching. The actor playing Do Min Joon was fine as hell and absolutely stole my heart. I give it 5 (fine-as-hell-alien-inhabited) stars.
The ending was a bit boring, but ultimately, it didn't disappoint. I give the writers mad respect for awarding the crown early, I just wish they had given us more. More of a dramatic turn around for Vivi cosmetics... maybe even a time leap. More success for Hyung Joon. Placing him on Yoon's level or higher in a big sprawling office with his wedding picture on his desk... that would've been great. More for Miss Korea. What's next for her? Her lack of ambition was annoying. Her character at the beginning had a take charge attitude. I wanted to see her take opportunity and run with it after she won the crown. They showed us she was more then just an elevator girl. After she won, they needed to show us that she was more then just a beauty queen with the right measurements. I LOVED the actress playing Mae Ae Ri but my favorite character was Choon Ja, the Cherry Salon lady. That actress is HILARIOUS. Overall, 3 stars. Thanks Dramafever!
Well. Loose strings everywhere. What the heck kind of ending was that?! It was depressing, SLOW, and deeply unsatisfying. Booooo. Hiss. The adorableness that is Kwon Man Se (little neighbor boy from Masters Sun) kept me watching. That's it. The storyline was totally all over the place, and confusing as hell. I didn't know from one episode to the next if Joong Ki was evil or Kwon Yool's BFF. It started out with humor and promise but then it completely lost direction, the plot... (I mean seriously, what was the plot?)... and ultimately me. Ugh. Won't be re-watching that ever. I give it 1 very depressed and disappointed star.
