Awwwww!!! So. Much. Cute. I can't take it. This series had every single cliche in the K-Drama book... which is probably why I wasn't ready for it to end! Loved the shorter episode structure but because each episode was so concise, some moments definitely felt rushed or underdeveloped. Otherwise, it's the perfect bite sized series to satisfy any K-Drama addict appetite. 5 Stars.
Omo. This drama is super cute! It took me through all the feels. The chemistry between the two leads is adorable and Jo Jung Suk's Chef Kang Sun Woo is sexy and wonderfully portrayed. The flower boy kitchen crew made me think of Coffee Prince meets Flower Boy Ramen Shop. If you're looking for a romantic story with a bit of the supernatural mixed in... you found it. 5 Stars.
*This review contains SPOILERS* So. I'm a Joo Sang Wook fan so I stuck it out... but the lack of romantic chemistry between the leads made the kiss and any other romantic overtures in the last two episodes vastly uncomfortable. I appreciate that all the big bads got what was coming to them, but I wish that Dae Chul could've remained a prosecutor. Loved the interactions between him and his side kick! The acting overall was great, but I think there were some stand out performances (Jo Sang Taek... wow). The only loose thread for me?... What happened to Yeon Ji, Jo Sang Taek's daughter? After that horrible betrayal she pulled, I wanted her to go to jail for a moment. Lastly, Dae Chul's manipulative mother. She lost her family, but I wanted to see her all the way at rock bottom. I'm thinking an ahjumma street vendor or something that would humiliate and humble her. Overall, I give this drama 3 stars.
