I didn't think that that tried to show how whites & Azns are alike-it just described how they're not. I'm very lucky that my group of friends is mixed & we're ALL friends. It did take years tho to find the right ppl that meshed like we do-over the yrs I tried to make friends with many Azns & only about 6 have really let me in. I've wondered b/c of this if they really want ways to change (I don't mean that to be mean). For instance, my bf's Azn & I get not just strange looks (which I understand) but glares (which I don't) from Azn-Amer girls that see me with him. I've learned French & German, & yet now learning Korean isn't ok. However, Azn int'l students I meet get excited to see Amers interested in their culture-so why is it a diff attitude from the ones who grew up here? Maybe Azns see whites the same way tho. I'd actually like to know if anyone feels that way-are there any Azn girls dating white boys that get glares? That just wouldn't be right..lol like someone else said I just wish we could all mesh :)
