This show seemed funny and good at first but it got too draggy...It had potential with good actors and good OSTs, but this potential has been totally annihilated. Nothing major happens. When it does, it only gets interesting for 2 minutes, then goes back to the usual boring talking useless scenes... Plot planning seems lazy and poor. The ending was awful and totally disrespected the character of YJ. He had no say, no story, no nothing. This guy just goes to waste. Instead of showing the important scenes, they just do: One year later... and everything is already resolved, the problems and awkwardness is gone magically... In this drama, they dwell unecessarily on useless stuffs and skip/ignore the important stuffs. I changed my rating to 1/5. Sorry but it's all it's worth...
This drama is too typical and predictable. Although there is funny moments, it still doesn't help the fact that the plot is weak, way to weak... It's always the same thing as in the actress last drama (Scent of a woman): She's old, has a handsome doctor who likes her but ends up with the younger guy... Too much deja vu, it's impossible to be impressed. After watching 10 episodes, nothing happens. All that happened was that she got pregnant. Kim Sunah's character is also getting on my nerves because she never say anything nor does she clear any misunderstanding the men are having. She just thinks she's the only having it hard, centering everything around her, wanting attention from both men. She enjoys it it seems. The characters are not likeable and there is no depth to them. Also, the main character's stomach is so flat like a model's even after months. This is getting ridiculous. Can't they make her appear at least pregnant?
I thought the first 2 episodes were just average (like your typical drama). I just didn't see everything this drama had to offer until the end of episode 4. By then, I could see how deep the plot was as well as how complex the characters (especially Lee Kang To) were. I'm not saying this drama is perfect, it is not (I don't think there's such thing as the perfect drama) but it's just very well done and written, from plots, to character development, etc. Sure, it has its awkward moments, but the bottom line is that it delivers everything I expect and more. Bridal Mask has so much to offer the viewer. It's one of a kind.
