coming up on episode 10, things are getting heavy. Really heavey, armour, attitudes, situations, strategies, it is no fun at all. I love Eun Soo above all. She is in the worst position at this point, and saying that it is no fun anymore is an understatement. The Evils are dark and dastardly. The Goods are losing their brightness and shine. It is hard to keep the faith. Ahh. The women have it together - Lady Choi is too good for this life, the Queen has vision and stamina, and Eun Soo is one tough cookie. But they have the lousy 14th century to contend with, and that's one hard pill to swallow. We are on your side, ladies, Fighting! Choi Young, I'm disappointed in your lack of romance and chivalry to Eun Soo. Too little too late. I'm giving you great leeway to come through... Just watched episode 14 - love the love! The loner moutain uncle is twisted to give poison to the doctor, wow, even more evil than GiCheol, really? But he is. Lady Choi to the rescue because she single handedly holds Goryeo together!
I can't believe it took me 2 episodes to realize it's a double shot espresso kdrama with Coffee House and Coffee Prince stars together. Love their professional acting and inter-dynamics. I love her adorable front teeth and moon face, she is perky and smart with never a dull moment! He is handsome, conservative, and thoughtful. And his brother, what a doll. The three of them are cuter than cute together, making for a fun story in the real fake world of kdramas. Love it, love it! I don't get the lower than expected ratings at all. It's refreshing to watch adult angst-filled relationships rather than the high school kids and their crush/puppy love romances. Now it is a 2 day marathon for me so that I can get in all the episodes. Lotsa coffee on the burner, yeah!
What could be more squishy cute than a Jae Hee/Tae Joon/Eun Gyeol love triangle? Add American hot Jong Hoon and tada - it's a perfect love square now! Wow, do the dynamics ever change with Jong Hoon (Johnny) on the scene. He barely squeaks in under the jerk-o-meter, but he's Jae Hee's friend with lots of charisma, confidence, and charming good looks. Let's get Jae Hee's identity out in the open, shall we? Only adorable Eun Gyeol is still in the dark about Jae Hee. Acorn hair or fluff sweep hair, he is a living doll with an incomparable smile and happy eyes and a personality to match. Such a pretty flower boy! But wait, Jae Hee doesn't know that Tae Joon knows she's a girl yet either...it's a complicated love square. Three boys for every girl (sort of). Best cast ever! Oh, except for the national goblin, what a trouble maker - POOF! be gone with you!
