I have to tell you I hate subtitles. I am American and can only speak English. I started watching this with my daughter and quickly became addicted. The subtitles just fade away as you are drawn in to the story. All 62 episodes were watched. Hated to see it end. I cried a lot. I am totally enthralled with this show. Thank you for making it and Wikipedia ty for having some information on history. Do not go read Wikipedia if your watching this it will ruin the last episodes for sure. Superb! Update: I just had to come back since this was my first drama. It still rocks.... 32 full drama's later. I love the culture shared in this movie. A great next drama was Jewel in the Palace. I also followed the actors to other dramas. They are really good actors. I hope more people watch this. Remember the first few episodes are a bit hard to get through then it sails.
This was entertainment all the way. I truly enjoyed this drama. It made me laugh and cry. It was just fun. It was a fresh story that had some predictableness but at the same time was unpredictable. Watch and see if you like it! Just an update I liked this so much if you know something like it please post the title below for me in a comment. Romance and action but not overkill was really fun.
I really enjoyed this. Agree with other reviews. I did figure it out before it was at the end though. I'd watch this again.
I want DramaFever to put this up for us to see. I watched the first two episodes and they just drew you right in to wanting more. I hope they host this show soon! Good actors and nice plots.
This is a lighthearted drama with seriousness built in. Over all the acting was pretty good. Everyone seemed a little confused in their lives. I enjoyed this drama. I didn't have the urge to fast forward episodes. I was on the fence right up until the last episode as to how it was going to end. I read some reviews that were unhappy with the ending. I was satisfied for the most part. I like the fact that you see growth in the characters. The parents could of been a bit more mature... that was perhaps my biggest complaint about the story. If you like under-dog stories and romance ---Cinderella type you will be fine watching this. I do agree the lead actresses hair cut is pretty bad though.
Well done. This mystery will hold your attention for a decent length of time. It is funny, sad, and shocking. I felt like the romance was a little off at times. I wanted to change Eun Jae's clothes and hair for the entire movie. There is one scene where her beauty is undeniable. PYM is a interesting character. As the show plays out realtionships are revealed. I wasn't exactly sure how this one would end. Characters who were in What's Up were in this drama and for me they were hard to recognize... they really played their roles well. This is a conundrum to watch. I always like loyalty. I'm just amazed at how loyal people can be and at the same disloyal to. This was a thundery show. Five stars for being entertaining the whole way.
I started watching this and it held my interest. It just wasn't great... I wanted it to have a little more substance for a grande finale at the end. It just didn't quite get there. I know the word that describes it for more is lukewarm.
I was at episode 7 and now at 13. I was starting to lose interest. Those hokey relationships that just suddenly develop out of nowhere kind of turned me off. Someone declares their feelings and honest to goodness the validation for them was missing. Anyways the acting is okay... at first I just kept seeing these blank stares that baffled me. Then they finally changed and some emotion evolved .I haven't finished it but honestly am enjoying it. Not my favorite drama. I love the men in this show and particularly the fact that they all have a bit of sincerity showing through in their roles. If you don't mind torn up hearts give this one a watch. I really feel badly for the brokenhearted ones. Loving the twist that hits here to. Its a drama thats for sure. I'm a big fan of the lead actress. I finished it..... the ending was appropriate I think but I hate the ending! :) Off to find another drama.
This is a interesting show. Only four episodes. It is sad. The story takes many twists and turns. I really liked the actors in their roles. I am torn between rating this a three or four. I watched it to watch something short. The mystery seems predictable but it shifts a bit here and there.
Lee Da Hae-- IN Chuno, My Girl, Shoot for the Star and now this! I just really really enjoy her quirky spirit. I did not realize she was the actress in Chuno and I loved her in that. She is really fun. This is a fun drama that I'm totally enjoying. I love some humor and tears mixed. Looking forward to seeing how this is going to go. If you like her in the other shows I'm sure you will also enjoy this. The other actors are fun to she just was the draw for me as an actress. Can't wait to see her in more dramas. Update on last episode. I loved this drama. It zigs and zags in simple ways. It is well acted, funny in spots and sad to. Hope you enjoy it.
Woohoo Goooo What's Up! ???? LOL I thought it was 18 episodes but see 20 now! This is really a nice drama. It moves at a good pace. Lots of characters to like. Doo RI whats going to happen to you... your character is sooo loveable. Jae Hun??? What will happen? Tae Yi?? oh wow Just so many. I want the masked former internet star to end up with some good in his world. The Red Suited one.... what is your story? Will we ever hear more about you? Acting is really really great! Great Drama. I grew up with Fame in America loved that series here as a tv show and this really fits the bill pretty well for that type genre. Great and fun drama. Now to find somewhere to learn Korean in my area so I can understand without subtitles! America get with it and start the kids in elementary with some foreign languages would you!!! Happy Day!
I watched Insoon is Pretty a While Back. It was really good. Her life will just break your heart. Your going to cry. She has a heart of gold. Her character is so strong and tender despite what you see. Her family just shocks me to pieces. I'd watch this drama again.
This is a heart felt drama. Want to know what people will do when they are obsessed and immature? You get to see the nutty extremes some people will go to have their lives the way they want. Scary Money... is a big theme in this drama. I really enjoyed the actors... wanted more for the guy that didn't get the girl. He was just to good in so many aspects. Have a Happy Day! :)

I find John Lee's character confusing and the comments ruined the show for me. I'm sooo bummed with reading about the ending in comments. I now can't decide at episode 12 whether to go on or quit. Warning don't read reviews unless you want it ruined. I gave it two stars because I found sitting and watching the golf to be kind of boring in this show. IT had possibilities until I read the reviews. UPDATE --- I went ahead and finished the series. I'm glad I did. I think the show had a lot of interesting aspects, it showed some real caring among the characters. That really stands for a lot... some morality emerged. Growth of individuals. The concept that love is greater than just wanting something for ones self. Even the mention of wanting to be with another. I upgraded 3 stars... might even be a four if the ending wasn't ruined by reviews. I consider this another work of entertainment. You decide for yourself but be careful of spoilers in reviews! >>Loved the characters they were all interesting.
So far so good. However on episode 7 the subtitles are to fast. Thus far its better than the 3 star so so ratign but it did take a bit to get interested. Curious where it is going to end up.
I found the drama interesting. Lots of topics that one could discuss with young adults. Isn't it amazing how people mess their lives up. Loved the characters in their roles they did good jobs with their acting. I cried quite a few tears ... keep the tissues handy. What can I say without spoiling the show... give it a shot. Note I was a little impatient with a couple episodes. It just seemed like things were getting dragged out.
This is a true drama and the stairway to heaven is carried through out the entire show. Now that I finished watching it because it was really good I think of things I'd of liked to end different. Keep some tissues near. Bad Love made me cry a whole lot more. Winter Sonata kept my attention a bit better. There were times when there was a lot of wordless acting that I was a little impatient with... it wasn't bad just my patience was a bit on the thin side. I went looking for shows of all the main actors and added to my watch list. I hope you enjoy this Stairway to Heaven drama.... the title once again as in many dramas says it all.

Give this a shot I bet you will be wanting more soon to if you like comedy dramas. :) Updating I just finished the 4th episode. Very well done. Not at all what I expected. Just watched the 5th! Nice flow to the show. Anxiously awaiting the next episode! Waiting another week! :) Update on episode 11... having hugely mixed thoughts about the progression of this drama. New characters in last couple episodes are driving me nuts. Do any of these characters know real love and about sticking to it? I guess time will tell! Taking away a star for show being all over the place up to now. ... Just saw episode 13... not ready to upgrade the stars and hated the ending scene just did not like the lack of mutual chemistry made it seem one sided.
I think its a light hearted film. I'm not in love with it. Nothing to deep here. You will have to make your own opinion. It wasn't horrible and I did manage to watch it. I guess I felt like the script could of had so much more potential. For what there was of it; it wasn't bad. I just felt like it had gaping holes to achieve the beginning, middle and end of this movie.
This is a fun and sad drama all at once. I really didn't think I could like the 49 days idea in a series. However once I started watching I really enjoyed it. Yoon Kye Sang -Mister Cha... is really excellent at his role. I am very impressed with the change in roles as an actor in each episode. Go Ah Ra/ Son Young is excellent as a bereaved, confused daughter and makes her part very believable for a innocent 20 year old. I think this is worth a watch. Looking to see what other shows they are in to watch for the future. Give this drama a chance it will grow on you. --The idea of living with no regrets came into my own personal life the day I got married but this drama demonstrates why its so important you live now because one never knows about tomorrow. I am on the last two episodes off to finish.
Lies are such a shaky foundation for scenes from writers. They just manage to pull you in to loving characters that lie oh so well. Interesting drama. You decide what you think about lies as the drama unfolds. Worth a watch in my opinion.
I wouldn't be watching these dramas if I expected reality. This really flows well. Its entertaining. The actors are fun and awful as their roles demand. Some happy endings and some sad ones to. I won't rate this as a happy drama because there are some tears that just come like it or not. It is a roller coaster ride. Wicked things. Often I get a message out of a drama the message I walk away from with this one is "To Live". If you have time give this a watch its good. Chuno has a line that women want a man without waver. This shows people without waver but boy do they need to develop some morals! Thank you for another enjoyable show! I wanted more.... left me wondering what happened next in the lives of the characters at the end. We got the tidbits to indicate though! I gave it five stars!
This was really a fun family drama to watch. I liked One Percent of Anything and that is what was a very similar in style drama. This was better in my opinion though as far as entertainment went. If you like family type shows with good endings then you will enjoy this. It is one that had some good twists toward the end of the drama so it held my attention well. I just loved the characters because in some ways they really had a good element of being human. This was not a big cry fest for me either. I consider it more lighthearted and fun to watch.
I found this troubling at times. It made me cry. I just ached for the friendship and way the roles were played out. I have to say I was hoping the romances would of turned out different but it is what it is. Overall its a good drama. I hope you enjoy it to.
This is a really great! I'm only through episode 11. It has been riveting and I"m ready to watch episode after episode. I don't know what to expect next as it just keeps flowing through with undertones. A lot is going on and many characters to keep up with. I definitely recommend watching this one. Nothing like the light and dark in the characters that is blurred at times. Torn hearts ... where will it end up? Oh my goodnesss episode 22 I just want to yank one of the characters right out of the screen evil. I am losing patience at the end of this series....... have reached episode 26 and 27 Maybe its just me but hoping the last few episodes get better. Not a bad ending but weak none the less in my opinion.
This is an engaging story line. I read a couple reviews that I thought were spoilers so I am not going to say much. I'm up to episode 10. I have really mixed feelings about who I want to be with whom. I know the direction it appears the story is going in though. Will be anxiously awaiting the upcoming episodes. If you like to cry a little this one will do it for you. I find the funny situations uncomfortable they aren't quite laughable for me most of the time. I am enjoying this drama. I like th idea of dreaming and the reality of we don't sell out to do it though in real time is more appealing. IN a drama though anything goes. :) Hope you enjoy it to. I finished on other web pages with interuptions! I enjoyed this drama.
Enjoyed this show. It is not reality it is entertainment. I felt like it was missing so much between episode 15 and 16 that could of made it flow a bit better. Overall I enjoyed this drama. I understand all the comments made about the storyline in other reviews.
I made it to episode 52. I was getting frustrated with some of the story lines. I think it was dragged out and about a bit. Happy with turn of events in some of the characters in the last bit and not so happy with some now. The whole show exhibits how messed up families get. Family remains family though and some how in a twisted way the immaturity discussed is probably a good part of it in many families. Growing up never stops. I truly enjoyed watching this and hope you do to.
This is one Intense drama. The relationships are complicated and take a good bit to figure them out. The story is well developed around the characters. I enjoyed it and as always would love a follow up of what happens next at the end of the show. Families are complicated and this sure shows that throughout all of the interactions.
Not my favorite and this is sexually explicit in the beginning. Funny how that tone of the movie wasn't carried out through out. I have to say it isn't the actors just the story. It could of been done better. Very skewed story-line. Nothing good about a 16 year old and a grown man other than in movies. Such a shame rewrites sure would of improved this and cutting some of the nasty.
Oh my word the title fits so well. I felt like I was watching a train crash in slow motion of peoples lives. They did a whole lot of flash back scenes. I figured out that because so much was sad I wanted to hurry up and get through to the next episode. I would not watch this twice but give it 3 stars. It just made me way to sad for most of the movie. ---If you want to cry this is one to watch.
I sometimes watch these dramas and wish for a little more uplifting of spirits while watching them. This had just the right amount of laughter and tears for me. It is fun to watch. The characters really play their roles well. You will love and hate them at times. I hate seeing so much manipulation going on but it all works in the end. My favorite thing is this had a ending that didn't leave me hanging. I was getting antsy and about to skip forward in the last five of the episodes. I hung in there though and was glad. It improved. This ebbs and flows throughout. Off to find another one! I liked Pasta and Thank you! Pasta was my favorite with the leading actress here.
Oh my gosh huge laugh at the end of the episode. The silly things people do in the movies. What a awful trick to play on someone with their clothes. In this day and age I enjoy a good laugh. Some great points about parents and children being dragged into the problem are made. I'm not sure if it could ever be real but wow nice.
This drama got better as it has played out 2 more episodes!
I can't believe how much better this drama got as it played out. I'm just hanging for the last two episodes. I think it is going to be a favorite drama out of the many I've watched. I love the reviewers take on this. It has so many possibilities... could they possibly extend it???? ---Fun/dramatic/quirky/surprising and over all entertaining... with some romance tossed in.
