Not what I was expecting when coming into this drama. It's got quite a wealth of (subtle) depth layered in nicely with the humour. Love that the characters aren't stereotypical kdrama characters either. But what makes this show really worth watching are the two male leads; Park Shin Hye is easily overshadowed by them.

Pure love. That is all. Along with Flower Boy Band and Queen In Hyun's Man, this goes down as one of my fave dramas of 2012.

After a few disappointments in the last quarter of 2012, I must say this was a very pleasant surprise and a drama I truly enjoyed. What makes "Can we get married?" so charming is that it was a character-driven drama. Throughout its 20 episode run, there was never a time that I felt bored, annoyed, or disappointed. And with each episode, I felt more and more a part of their respective families as we got to know the characters better through their ups and downs. It's nice having a drama that seemed "real" and somehow grounded, at least in its ability to portray the different worlds/versions of "love" and "family". Anyhow, I loved this drama and think others would too.
