I cannot begin to express how much I LOVE this show. Several different blogs recommended it, and I decided to watch even though I swore I would never watch a show that was not complete. I am waiting on pins and needles for every episode. Vaness Wu is killing every scene and the little boy is so adorable that he make me even like the traditional scary mom character. I also like that we know they are going to get together because the closing sequence of the show shows eveyone together as a happy family. I think this is important because it proves that in a quality show, it really does not have to be about the "will they or won't they business" but more about the journay they make to find each other and then find each other again. This is also one of those shows that you just don't hate any of the second leads, which I also find interesting because it proves that you don't have to have a snobby ex to fan fuels of engagement.

I really loved this show. Yes, some of the editing was a little awkward and some of the response shots corny, but warmth in a procedural drama?!?! You really don't get much better than this. Every character, not just the OTP, gets a challenge and gets to change. The overarching serial killer plot is good, but the most interesting thing to me was to see the growth in the different characters and how they believably come together as a team. I love their interactions and the loyalty the show builds between chareacters. Everyone is smart and really respects each other. The romance is different as well, much more realistic in the workforce, and the respect the male leads shows for his love's skills really makes him the ideal hero. He falls in love with her not just because she is pretty can see that he loves her because she is smart and has an integrity and loyalty that he admires. He falls in love with her for the same reasons that women or female characters usually fall in love with heroes.
