Karl Laker is so sappy and overly dramatic that it is a bit annoying, but a fun show anyway. It is so unrealistic when these shows have someone supposedly 5 months pregnant and their stomachs are flat as a board! So silly.
Hwang Jin Yi said the baby did not want to be with parents who could not be together. Well that reasoning is off because they COULD be together. She just choose not to. IT was stupid and annoying so I skipped over much of it at this point.
I enjoyed this show. Not quite the substance of Rooftop Prince, but worth watching. The main couple was very cute!
I like the drama very much but skip some of the long drawn out love torture parts. WHY? WHY do the people put up with such evil people in these dramas? Why when Han Jung-suh regained her memory did she not tell everyone especially her father and boyfriend what the evil stepmother and stepsister did to her!! They basically tried to murder her and get rid of her and abused her!!! Reveal the truth please!!! I enjoy seeing the evil doers get their punishment!! The music is great especially the drums!
I really enjoyed this drama. It had enough happy stuff to keep me from being frustrated. Other dramas never have enough happy! This was perfect!
I enjoyed it. It did have a good MORAL to the story. I see the moral as,"Treat others the way you want to be treated." and "Treat others as you would want your daughter or son treated or mom or dad." If Lee Hwa had treated Mi Ri like a human being she would have had less guilt and believe me she deserved GUILT!! She was worse then Mi Ri for abandoning her daughter. (In my mind)
I'm up to episode 7 and as I said it is awesome in every way. I'm really enjoying this show. I just wish that Choi Hang Woo did NOT wear pink lipstick!!! Ug....!!! 5 stars all the way to the end!!! Really great, fun, exciting, love, and more :)
What difference does it make for a 2 people from the same family dating 2 people that are friends? Just curious. It happens all the time in the USA in fact it is even better when family date friends. What is the reason? Wang Man Kil need to "man up'" and shut his horrid wife up!!! Why does he just watch his wife behave so badly??? He really needs to be more assertive and protect his son's wife. Very frustrating!!! The mother in law and sister in law are pure evil. Also, Yoon Soung needs to stand up toher mother in law and sister in law. The mother in law is so wretched and yells all the time, Someone shut her up! AHHHH.....
I like Korean Drama because I can relax and feel confident that the show I watch will not influence my soul in a negative way and that I wouldn't be supporting a group such as Holly Wood, that seeks to destroy the moral value of our youth. Korea has become more modern as of late due to its expanding economy, but it should by no means give up its moral and cultural heritage just to fit in with the rest of the world. The U.S is known for making great films. Ha! In the past three years they have yet to produce any new story lines, lack acting skill, and most certainly have no moral teachings or values. I suggest that the reason Korean Drama is so popular, not only in Asia, but in the U.S, is because it is one of the only moral means of entertainment left in this continually degrading world. I hope that Drama Fever takes this drama off.
And I am really enjoying the story line. Ingenious! I look forward to see how it goes from here. The big question I have is,"Can these writers prepare a proper and enjoyable ending?" Time will tell. Not just a rushed, sloppy ending that leaves everyone frustrated like in Assorted Gems!! Love it so far. Episode 8 was especially good. Keep it up writers and thanks for such good shows:) I just finished episode 20 and still love the show. I just hope that Jin Jin Shim/Mok Ga On, reconciles with her "adopted," dad. After all, he did raise her and bond with her and love her. That just doesn't disappear overnight! It is still so interesting and addictive. I can;t wait for the next episode. I also love the entry song "Bomb day, bomb day..." so cute or is it "Bum day Bum day?" OH and I think they did do a good job with the ending :) Han Tae Yang is too handsome for words!!!
This show is hysterical, I laugh and laugh and laugh!!! Don't usually care for comedy, but this is really funny. I am only on episode 3, but so far so good :) UPDATE Now I am on episode 8 and can't see where this is going, a bit tired of antics.Episode 11 update,,, the main male character Lee is a cold hearted Bastard!!! Oh and did I mention he is selfish, immature, self centered and never cares about the people around him and how his actions impact others. Very annoying. He better improve soon. Episode 16... Could he stop being so ANNOYING AND INSULTING??? Well he is finally waking up and smelling the coffee~~! HOPE EPISODE 17: I want to see some sparks and chemistry between Lee Jin-Su and Seo Eun Young! Come one bring the love looks and sweet looks :) ended ok, not my favorite but it did have good moments and lots of laughs at first.
I have to give this show 5 stars. I loved every second of it. Funny, romantic and entertaining. Thanks Korean Drama Fever!!! I found this show adorable, the plot, the characters and nuances!!! Ahhhh..................... That was a satisfied sigh :)
I enjoy this show a lot, but the police scenes are way too corny! Pointing a gun in someone's face??? She would be so fired!!! A bit more realistic would make it better.Nevertheless, Seo Jae Hee is adorable!!!
One thing I treasure Korean Drama for is the way they respect the sanctity of marriage. Typically they do not partake in casual sex and I appreciate that. This drama deviated from that norm and therefore was somewhat disappointing. I recommend Korean Drama for the way they do not have sex and immorality gratuitously thrown in. The story was cute and enjoyable otherwise. I have completely given up on American television and so have most of my friends. Most American television is disgusting.
My daughter and I are really enjoying the show so far. We are on episode 3. The clothes the 2 girls wear from the country are hilarious!!! I guess your designers had fun with that! We sure hope they get some fashion savy soon before our eyes rot out of our head. just kidding :) Now I have finished the show so don't ream further if you don't want it ruined for you. After finishing this show, I changed my 4 star rating to a 5 star. I loved it. I wish the writers would make a sequel to this show and many of the others I have watched. I would like to see their lives after marriage, the happy ever after to see them interacting and having fun. Thank you for another great drama!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, I have to admit I did not like the original premise of this show. The selfishness of wanting a baby for yourself out of wedlock and tricking a guy to get pregnant!!! Well, he is a gem!!! I was going to give up on the show if she aborted her baby, but I was so happy she choose to keep her baby. After all, what parent would not sacrifice their own life for their childs? I congratulate the writers for this! Excellent to the very end!!!
This was definitely one of my favorite dramas!!! Seo Young-guk is the ideal dream man every man should strive to emulate!!! My goodness, he is quite lovely to look at too:) I was heartbroken when Kyle did not tell Ruby he loved her!!! That was rotten, boo hoo.... They made the Dr. aka momma boy so insipid and pathetic, it turned my stomach to see Ruby married to him!!! Ug.... Poor Ruby. And who did Goodsoon.. end up marrying??? It was not clear. The end I would have enjoyed would have been, Ruby and Momma Boy go to the alter and Kyle shows up and declares his love and Ruby leaves Momma Boy at the alter to marry Kyle!!! Kyle is really cute and his character was adorable ... amazing Korean for an American. Good Job Kyle It would be nice to see a sequal or an alternative ending version!!! Please :)
This was an amazing drama. Historical, beautiful scenery, funny, sad, plot, and a terrible sad ending! It was so long and I liked that but, I got attached to Bidam and was heartbroken when he died and how cold Seon Duk was. Boo Hoo :(
I enjoyed this drama far more than the past few I have watched. I liked that they did not drag on the bad forever and rewarded us with happy scenes and a very happy ending! I loved the kids :)
I love Choi Gang Hyuk, Cah Chi Soo is too spoiled and arrogant and immature. The other guy is so sweet, kind, thoughtful, sincere, and handsome! I just finished this show and thoroughly enjoyed it!!! Really fun! I liked Cha in the end
I enjoyed it, but I found their fighting toward the end very frustrating. I wanted them to wise up and confess their love and see them happy for a while!
This was one of my least favorite historical dramas. It did portray politics as very ugly. The sexual content in the beginning was unnecessary for the story, unless they were just trying to portray the king as a pervert.
I am always amazed at the detail put into these dramas. The twitch in an upper lip, the way one runs fingers across books or a bread baking table. It is all so well choreographed. Congratulations on creating something worth watching, something of value.
I absolutely love this drama! I can't wait for new episodes. Geum Ran has definitely gone down the wrong path. It is not wrong to want to be a part of your biological parents life, but it is wrong to be vengeful toward the girl she was switched with. IT is wrong to lie, cheat and steal no matter how difficult one's life is! She was accepted and should have treated others with the love she wanted for herself. The editor is so cute and romantic. He better wise up and grab Jung Wan and marry her and have babies!!!
bumped up my rating by episode 47! Was at 3 now 5 stars
I loved this show. It was a bit difficult at first to get through all the quarreling! But it greatly improved and became one of my favorites. Touching, sentimental, and it had good values! So far I only like the sweet "Cinderella," dayghter-in-law and the youngest, police man son and the poor girl that got dumped and her Dad and sister. The rest are grouchy, mean, louts! Do Woo Mi performance was gripping in episode 15! She is an amazing actress. Do Woo Mi continues to amaze me and bring me to tears! The mother in law actually shines in episode 47.
