I'll have to be honest, unlike most of my wonderful kdrama peers out there... I have never had second male lead syndrome before. I am a hopeless believer in fate! Even when the second male lead is absolutely perfect, showers the lead with love, or comes from a tragic love too... I have always stood by the male lead. It’s fate right?! Well, for the first time EVER my heart is torn in two! This drama is all about changing fate and I have no idea where it’s going to lead us. It swings your heart back and forth. Who will she choose? Is there really fate? Can we change our fate? This drama plays with all these questions and the result is an extremely entertaining and fun romantic comedy. If you looking for a drama to mix things up and make you fall in love with two male leads simultaneously this drama is the one for you! Grab some popcorn, snuggle in, hit play, and join Na Mi Rae as she tries to battle fate and change the future!
This drama is absolutely amazing. If you're looking for a fairytale romance then turn away because that is not what this drama is about. This drama is about real people. And I think that's why I liked it so much. It wasn't about good versus evil, right versus wrong. Every person in this drama showed us the good inside of them, and the bad. So much so that even at the end the supposedly "bad" guys… really aren't so bad anymore. It's about the kind of love that you have to work for. The kind of love that accepts the bad, with the good. Sweet yet salty too. Overall it was extremely refreshing in the kdrama world and I loved every second of it. Park Si Hoo shines in his role as Cha Seung Jo, and I felt that I witnessed the birth of another rising star in Korean Television.
