Just finished watching the ep 20 and OMG I'm still crying....:( It was such a sweet sad ending....ugh! I'm not going to fault this drama by mentioning its plot holes, character development, etc. It's a kdrama and kdramas have a formula. The writer stuck pretty close that formula without making it stale and unorginal. It has a great comedic element, the tension bt. good vs. evil which I thought wasn't too over the top. But I thought the best part of this drama was the bitter-sweet romence between Bak Ha and the prince..... it was worth my time..

Wow! This wasTERRIBLE,,, It was only watchable because of the older more experienced actors covering for the younger, inexperienced and awful cast. Actually, Eric Moon was fine. But I thought Han Ye Seul was just down right unwatchable. She's a horrible actress! At one point, I felt sorry for Eric Moon, who had to deal with her as the leading lady. She reminds me of Han Go Eun - They both have been in many dramas but their acting just doesn't seem to get better! UGH! Acting is not your thing, Han Ye Seul. Choi Rye is real hot so I fixed my rating from one star to two...

At first, I thought this will be another Boys over Flowers recycled bore . I started watching the series with very little expectation but was completely surprised by how entertained I was. It does have flaws but even the flaws are entertaining. The relationship between the male lead and his father is manga-like ridiculous. The Japanese chef is totally random. The relationship between the two leads is so far fetched - but they all work! It's very entertaining. I've watched up to Ep 4 and so far it's quite promising...! Loved the car scene in the ep 4! :)

Felt in love with Kim Nam Ju. I didn't know how good she was until I watched the "Queen" series. If you liked this one, make sure you also check out Queen of Reveral.

This is a Josen dynasty version of Romeo and Juliet. I've watched up to Ep 17 and so far it's WOW x10!!! I love the balance between the love story and the historical drama/political struggle. It becomes real intense around episode 8 & 9 and I think the tension is going to keep escalating... Plus it's a gorgeous production. There're some really experienced and excellent actors at work here - Lee Soon Jae and Kim Young Chul! And Park Shi Hoo is soooooo HOT! This should on the "must upload" list at Drama Fever.

In my opinion, Kim Sun Ah is one of the most talented young actresses in Korea!! - probably the BEST in romantic comedy. No doubt that actresses in K-dramas are beautiful. However, sadly, their acting is either mediocre at best or down right unwatchable - watch Han Yea Sul in Spy Myung Wal. It's down-right painful! I never worry when I watch Kim Sun Ah - I just love watching her act. She never fails to capture her audience and truly knows how to make the script come alive on screen. The plot is nothing original - it's following the predictable K-drama formula combining the cinderella story with some other plot twists. But it's still worth watching Kim Sun Ah and Lee Dong Wook act creating one of the best chemistry between the leads I've seen in K-dramas in a long time. Initially, I thought Lee Dong Wook will be stiff and awkward but I thought he nailed his role. He is a good actor and will be an excellent one someday..... Pleasantly surprised. Upload, upload, upload.....

This is one of my favorite k-dramas. Great plot, good action, heartbreaking romance, and excellent directing... To me, it had it all. When I first watched this drama, I couldn't keep my eyes off of it and watched all 16 episodes straight through!!! The chemistry among all the actors was the best I've seen. Also the sound track is hauntingly beautiful and added so much intensity and romance to the drama. Upload, Upload, Upload, Upload..... Then I'll watch it all over again!

One of the most underrated drama and also it's one of my favorites. Too bad that they don't make dramas like this anymore due to the rating wars.... Great performance by Han Ji Min and it was one of her first major roles... Please upload.

This drama received very low ratings when it was aired in Korea. I absolutely have no idea why because it's fantastic. Perhaps it's because the plot deals with more mature and realistic issues surrounding the love and relationships rather than sticking to the typical over-the-top cinderella scearios that's been known to do well in K-drama ratings.... There're some under-rated K-dramas such as When Its At Night, What's Up Fox and I'd say this is another one. Good acting, great script, excellent character development... plus, it's hilarious! It's a real romentic comedy. The only criticism I have is Kim Bum's acting. Although I thought he was totally cute, I thought he was little too subdued for my taste. Still, a must see...

Personally, I thought this sitcom was way better than High Kick Through The Roof. HKTTR was funny but it was too heart ranching and tragic at times. This sitcom is really funny, light-hearted and touching without being too serious ... I love Yeo Jin's character... I think Kyu Han is hilarious. Please upload more.

Beautifully shot and mysterious drama. I would really like to watch it again here at Dramafever! Please upload this drama.

I watched first four episodes and at times I was rolling on the floor laughing. Song Sung Hun is hilarious. It's an entertaining series. Please upload this drama.

I've watched 4 episodes so far. Love the chemistry bt Ha Ji Won and Hyun Bin and I love Hyun Bin's character. He is difficult and yet endearing. He's a jerk but is a sweetheart. And he is totally hilarious! It seems more realistic that the male lead would question the social difference of the female lead even though he's head over heals in love with her. I like the fact that this drama is not one of those a perfect man with lots money falling in love with a stupid, ordinary woman scenario. I totally understand why the male lead is attracted to the female lead and I think this adds more thrill to the drama. I hope all 20 episodes will be as entertaining and funny as the first four. A MUST WATCH so far.......

All the dramas produced by SBS network have the same flaws- 1) drag on and repeat the same plot over and over to streach the series out to 20 eps, 2) pretty much everything gets resolved in the last two episodes, 3) and they take the the plot to the over-dramatic extreme so that they become soap opera-like. Even with these caveats, I enjoyed the drama very much. Loved the children and they basically pulled it together. Also I LOVE, LOVE Kim Ji Hoon (the lawyer) - What a hotty! Not sure why he hasn't been utilized more. I totally think he's hotter than Jang Dong Gun. Too bad that he's entered his military service and won't see him in dramas for 2 years - SIGH.... If you're a fan of him, be sure to check out "Secret Investigation Record". Awesome series.. If you ever thought he was a bad actor, you'll change your mind when you watch the series.

The last episode was so sad that I had to keep a box of kleenex near by. Although the same theme has been recycled many times in K-dramas, it was enjoyable in a predictable way. Hyun Bin has really grown as an actor since he stared in My Lovely Samsoon. Loved his hansome, soft and gentle looks. Don't watch this drama if you're looking for a light-hearted romantic comedy.

Because the reviews were so good, I decided to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised that it was quite good. I agree with some of the reviews that the plot was pretty far-fetched . But this is a Kdrama. It's not trying to achieve anything but to entertain. Watch this drama thinking that you're reading a manga, then it'll be enjoyable. Nevertheless I was little bored with the first 8 episodes and I admit that I fast forwarded a lot of it - so I probably spent about 8 hours watching this drama. But after the episode 10, it just took off. The best part of this drama are the male and the female leads. In my opinion, they were one of the best I've seen in Kdramas (and I've seen a lot of it) - EXCELLENT acting, amazing chemistry between the two leads. At such a young age to accomplish that level of acting is rather impressive. I gave four stars since I felt the first 1/2 dragged on... Still I enjoyed it. I loved the ending.

Please keep in mind that this drama was made in 2005 (before Pasta, Personal Preference, etc.). When it first came out, this drama was revolutionary. It kind of set the tone for the Korean romantic comedies to come. The original title was, "My Name is Kim Sam Soon" - not sure why they didn't translate it as it is. Sam Soon is an old-fashioned and unfashionable Korean name. The heroin is overweight and terrible at romance. Nevertheless she has the electrifying personality and she is totally hilarious!!, etc... This was the first time a Kdrama has ever introduced such a heroin - not so pretty, not so patient and not so pefect but very human. This character resonated with a lot of viewers - perhaps more with the older ones and it was an instant hit. But enough with the background... I'm fluent in Korean and it seems to help (maybe subtitles were not so great?) to appreciate this drama - I found this drama TOTALLY, ENTIRELY HILARIOUS. Anyway, give it a try with this in mind.

My sister told me this drama was just okay so I avoided watching it for a while. One day, I had nothing else to do so I watched and I was so pleased! I agree with other reviewers that Ko Hyun Jung is a great actress. I thought the proscuter Kim's acting was subpar but the drama doesn't go under because of Ko Hyun Jung's charisma, which made up for his deficiencies. The scrpit is very well written. The plot is interesting enough to engage the viewers throughout the entire episodes. It's to be expected from the writer who wrote the "Jewel of the Place (Dae Jang Gum)" series. If you like police or mystery drama, this is a good one to check out.

The script is kinda bad. All the characters are exaggerated and unrealistic. The plot is disjointed and mindless. I just don't get why the chef is attractive. He's an abusive person with no social skills. The femle lead is stupid with no mind of her own. The chef is awful to the female lead (and to other people). Nevertheless she falls in love the chef and follows him around like a puppy. Why would she like some who treats her and other people so badly? Is she sadistic?! I don't find these characters appealing at all. I know it's a Korean drama but there should be some element of realism to make the drama watchable. All 20 episodes were filled with nothingness. I recommend "When it's at night" (totally underrated). That drama may not be as cute and visually pleasing as "Pasta". But it's a good piece of writing with excellent leads with great supporting casts.
