Biography
Yoo Oh Sung is a Korean Actor who was born on September 11th, 1966. He attended Hanyang University, but soon became involved with a career in acting. His first acting role was in 1991 when he played a part in the film Love, Love: The Stories of Han Hie-jak. Between 1991, 1997, he acted in six other movies, but his acting talents remained largely unnoticed by fans or critics.
Finally, in 1997, he was cast to play a role in the film Beat. The movie was very popular, helped to boost his career. Two years later, in 1999, after acting in two other movies, he was cast to play parts in two very successful films, called The Spy, Attack the Gas Station! In 2000, he dabbled in television when he played a part on the show Like It Hot.
His biggest acting break came when he played a large part in the very popular movie Friend. The film went on to become one of the most successful films in Korean history,, made him a true acting star. Since Friend, he has acted in eight movies, has also played parts on six other television shows.
