Biography

Yoon Yeo Jung is a screenwriter and actress. She was born in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea on June 19, 1947. She is a Gemini and was born in the year of the pig. Yoon Yeo Jung received her education at Hanyang University.

Yoon Yeo Jung appeared in 42 television shows and 13 movies between 1985 and 2012. She won four awards for Best Supporting Actress for her movie The Housemaid in 2010 and 2011 from Daejong Film Awards, Korean Film Awards, Blue Dragon Film Awards, and Asian Film Awards. She won an award for Best Actress in 2010 from Cinemanila International Film Festival, also for The Housemaid.

Yoon Yeo Jung has been hailed as one of the greatest drama actresses to come from Korea. She never fails to leave her audiences teeming with emotions no matter the character or the genre she is portraying. She also has a reputation for never balking at the chance to play a challenging role.
