Biography

Carmen Alcayde studied Informational Science and graduated in 1996. She started her professional career in journalism where she worked as editor for the magazine Sociedad. Soon after, Carmen Alcayde jumped into the local television stations where she worked as editor, screenwriter, reporter, and presenter. Carmen Alcayde’s fame came when she presented the show Aquí hay tomate (2003) along with Jorge Javier Vázquez. This show focused on gossip and also brought her the award TP de Oro in 2005 and 2006.

Besides her television career, Carmen Alcayde published her first book called Treintañeras on November 2008. The book was well received by the public and later on in September 15th, 2009 she released her second book called Sobre Vivir en Pareja.
