Biography

Sandra Arana was born in Wisconsin, USA to Peruvian parents. After graduating from studying tourism and hospitality, she began to pursue acting in 1999 with her performance in the soap opera Vidas Prestadas. Her role in Mil oficios the next year signified her rise to prominence. Her debut on the big screen came in Días de Santiago in 2004, the same year in which she also participated in two other soap operas, Eva del Edén and Ángel rebelde. In 2006 she participated in seven different chapters for Telemundo’s series Decisiones and that same year she also held a role in Amores como el nuestro.

Sandra Arana returned to Peru in 2007, starring in Baila reggaetón and in Sabrosas. The following year she participated in Telemundo’s El rostro de Analía. Subsequently, in June 2011, she began to work as a reporter for the Peruvian version of the show Combate.
