Biography

Valeria Bertuccelli is an Argentinian cinema and television actress born in Buenos Aires on November 30th, 1969. She gave her first steps in acting when she took part of the underground theater Parakultural, Teatro General San Martín, and Teatro Nacional Cervantes. In television, Valeria Bertuccelli debuted in the shows Carola Cassini, Cuatro amigas, and the telenovela Máximo Corazón.

Bertucelli had a lot more success in the world of cinema. After the movie 1000 Boomerangs, Valeria started to take more risky and traditional roles like in Los guantes mágicos, Luna de Avellaneda, and Hermanas. Her last movies were a success on a national level, beating the Hollywood premieres like in Un novio para mi mujer and Belgrano. In 2011 she got awarded the Premio Konex Diploma al Mérito as one of the fifth best actresses in cinema of the decade in Argentina.
