Biography

Pedro Casablanc was born in Seville on April 17, 1963. He has a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Seville, the city where he started working in the theater company called Theatre Jácara. In 1991 he moved to Madrid and joined the cast of The Abbey Theatre, where he worked for four years led by Jose Luis Gomez. For the theater production "Mr. Puntila and his Man Matti", Pedro won the prize for best drama actor awarded by the Union of Actors Madrid.

Pedro has also worked in films with famous directors like Steven Soderbergh on Guerrilla, Jean-Jacques Annaud in Sa majesté Minor, and Imanol Uribe in Counted Days. He also starred in numerous short films and has acted in most of the Spanish television series from the early 90s. His current role is in the hit Spanish drama series Isabel where he plays Alfonso Carrillo, the Archbishop of Toledo.
