Biography

Juan Diego Ruiz Moreno is a Spaniard actor born in Sevilla on December 14th, 1942. He states that he had a really happy upbringing, running away from municipal police every time his soccer ball hit the sideboard of the town hall. Juan Diego also learned to know and recognize the typologies of the ordinary people from the rural area. In 2010, after finishing the series Los Hombres de Paco, Juan Diego participated in cinema in the movies Lope and the comedy Que Se Mueran Los Feos.

In 2011, Juan Diego participated in the movie 23-F: La Película, which later he got nominated for the Goya awards for Best Actor. The following year he appeared in the television series Toledo: Cruce de Destinos where he interpreted Alfonso X de Castilla. Later on Juan Diego participated in Todo Es Silencio, a movie based on the drug trafficking business in Galicia. Soon after Juan Diego partook in the movie Anochece en La India and then participated in theater in the monologue La Lengua Madre.
