After School Club

Starring and

For the first time ever, international fans can interact directly with their favorite K-pop idols through the hit variety show After School Club. Through social media, including Twitter, Facebook, and Google hangouts, fans are able to submit questions and request their favorite music videos live. Featuring real-time comment feeds and video chats, After School Club gives international fans the opportunity to interact with their favorite celebrities during a live broadcast. On top of candid engagement with fans, weekly K-pop guests treat their viewers to performances, impressions, choreography, and skits.
Because the show is primarily targeted at international fans, the hosts speak mainly English with guests speaking a mixture of English and Korean with English subtitles. This allows international fans to interact directly with their favorite stars through social media. Each episode, there is a portion called “Roll Call,” where fans can check in by tweeting their name and location with a message to the guest star. Fans who engage in Roll Call have the chance to receive a shout out from the star. During the “Hangouts” section of the show, fans are selected to participate in a live Google Hangout, during which they can show their favorite celebrity a song, dance, impression, or parody they have prepared.
