Love of Sandstorm - 戀愛沙塵暴 (戀愛沙塵暴)

Chris Wu (Autumn's Concerto, Substitute Princess) headlines a romantic comedy that proves you’re never too old to look for love, but your kids might not necessarily be of that opinion. Dashing printer salesman Yi De (Chris Wu), jujitsu/Hello Kitty fanatic Yi Shan (Chen Yu) and pervy weirdo Li Qian (Deng Yu Kai) are the Lin siblings, and they have never really cared much about their parents’ incessant bickering. They just grew up with it. But after 27 years of marriage, the three learn their mother Chen Pei Ling (Ke Shu Qin) and father Lin Yuang Ming (Fan Guang Yao) have officially decided to divorce each other. Plus, their father has started dating a woman who is just marginally younger…than the number of years he was married. On the other hand, their mother is growing attracted to her Korean teacher, and wants to get plastic surgery to look younger. Now, not only do the Lin trio have to try and become something in their own lives--none of which are going particularly well--but they also have to try and convince their parents to stay together. Can their family survive this sandstorm of love, or will the mirage of lust get them thrown into a dune of despair?

Love of Sandstorm, along with Life Plan A and B, is part of the “Q Series” lineup of short dramas that began airing on TTV on Aug 19, 2016. The first segment in the series, Love of Sandstorm consists of seven episodes and is directed by Kitamura Toyoharu, the genius that fans will remember for his work on the classic It Started With a Kiss. Love of Sandstorm concluded on September 30, 2016, at which point it was replaced by Life Plan A and B.

The extended cast for Love of Sandstorm includes Chris Wu as Lin Yi De, Fan Guang Yao as Lin Yuan Ming, Ke Shu Qin as Chen Pei Ling, Chen Yu as Lin Yi Shan, Deng Yu Kai as Lin Yi Qian, Xu Guan Han as Zhuang Hao Yang, Ye Xing Chen as Ren Jiao Jiao, Ye Chen Ting as Lu Yi, Sakuraba Nanami as Nana, Wang Jian Min as Lu Zheng Xing, Yao Kun Jun as Xiao Qiu Mi, Yu Jiong Long as Jin Yong Jun, Qu Zhong Heng as Nana's father, Frankie Huang as Runner, Zhang Yu as Newscaster, Kitamura Toyoharu as Noodle vendor, and Dong Zhi Han as Yi Qian's teacher.
