Entourage (안투라지)

Starring and

Seo Kang Joon (Cheese in the Trap) and Lee Kwang Soo (Bachelor’s Vegetable Store, Running Man) lead a star-packed cast in a gloriously bromantic ride through the Korean entertainment industry. Cha Young Bin (Seo Kang Joon) is a rising star trying to navigate both the glamour and peril of the entertainment industry. He has it all, and thinks the only way his acting can improve is if he continues to enjoy life as the natural carefree playboy he is. Supporting him is an entourage of people dependent on his success to achieve their own. Kim Eun Gab (Signal alum Jo Jin Woong) is the suave, ball-busting, admittedly crazy management agent and CEO who makes Cha Young Bin a star and is now interested in making him a proper actor. Lee Ho Jin (You Are All Surrounded actor Park Jung Min) is the young star’s on-call manager, a relatively normal guy who isn’t sure if he is working as an assistant or just cleaning up after his friend’s messes. Cha Joon (Lee Kwang Soo) is a has-been actor who claims he was once as big as idol groups like H.O.T. and Sechskies but is now struggling to hang on to his career. And Geobook, or Turtle (Lee Dong Hwi from Answer Me 1988), is Cha Young Bin’s unemployed best friend whose sole purpose for existence seems to be driving his friend around and keeping him company. Together, they take to the red carpet, enjoy the star life and watch each others’ backs as they rise to the top of the industry.

Entourage is a remake of the 2011 American HBO series of the same name. The adaptation is directed by Jang Young Woo, who fans will remember for his work on the I Need Romance sequels, and written by Seo Jae Won. Prior to release, the drama has netted attention for not only its tremendous main cast but also for the sheer amount of entertainment industry special appearances in the show to promote a genuine feel, including girl group SPICA, Song Ji Hyo (My Wife’s Having an Affair This Week, Running Man) and Lee Tae Im (All About Marriage). The lead role of Cha Young Bin was originally offered to ZE:A’s Im Si Wan (Triangle), but ultimately went to Seo Kang Joon. The first script reading for the drama took place on May 28, 2016 at CJ E&M; Center in Sangamdong, Seoul, South Korea, with filming beginning June 1, 2016 at a club in Gangnam and finishing late September 2016. Due to the overseas popularity of its leads, specifically Lee Kwang Soo and Seo Kang Joon, the series was sold at very high rates in China. The series, premiering simultaneously in China, Japan and South Korea, will debut on November 4, 2016 on tvN. Subsequent episodes of the series will air every Friday and Saturday at 11:00PM, overtaking the time slot vacated by the conclusion of Cinderella and Four Knights. Entourage is expected to run for 12 episodes, with an expected conclusion on December 10, 2016.

The complete cast for Entourage includes Seo Kang Joon as Cha Young Bin, Jo Jin Woong as Kim Eun Gab, Park Jung Min as Lee Ho Jin, Lee Kwang Soo as Cha Joon, Lee Dong Hwi as Geobook (turtle), Kim Hye In (김혜인) as Seo Hee, Ahn Soo Hee as Ahn Soo Hee, Choi Myung Gil as Kang Ok Ja, Yoon Ji Hye as Eun Gab’s Wife, Amber Liu as Jay Jung and Ryu Han Bee as Eun Gab's daughter, with guest appearances by, Song Ji Hyo, Ji Suk Jin, Lee Jun Ik, Mamamoo, Ha Jung Woo, Kim Tae Ri, Park Chan Wook, Kang Ha Neul, Jin Goo, Kim Sung Kyun, Park Han Byul, Jin Jae Young, Lee Tae Im, Clara Lee, Boom, Nayoung and Chungha (I.O.I), Dok2, Hyukoh, SPICA, Kim Kwang Hyun of SK Wyverns, Shim Euddeum, Bong Man Dae, Kim Seung Ho, Jin Seon Kyu, Hwang Bo Ra, Kim Jin Kyung, Ahn Hye Kyung, Lee Sun Bin, Lee Sung Min, Lee Joo Yeon, Oh Dae Hwan, Nam Da Reum, Nam Chang Hee, Kim Ki Bang, Seong Jae, In Gyo Jin, So Yi Hyun, Oh Chang Seok, Song Hae Na, Kyung Soo Jin, Yim Pil Sung, Lee Eun, Lee Joon, Choi Jeong Ryeol, DJ Soda, Nam Jang Hee, Jin Jeong Seon and Han Kyung Hyun.
