Biography

When she was 18 years old, Miryam Gallego left to Madrid to study Dramatic Art, although her first roles as an actress were in her hometown Galicia. There she took small roles in the series Pratos combinados. In 1998 she graduated and in 1999 she took an advanced course of artistic expressions. Later on Miryam Gallego started taking roles in episodes from the series Policías, en el corazón de la calle and El comisario. Then she landed a fixed role in the series Periodistas for several seasons.

Miryam Gallego also has participated in theater and cinema, where she partook in the movie Concursante. She achieved fame thanks to her role as Lucrecia in the successful television series Red Eagle. In the summer of 2007 she announced her participation in the series Hospital Central from Telecinco. Later on in May 31st, 2010, Miryam Gallego received the Premio Madrid a la Mejor iniciativa cultural.
