Thank You to Our Users

DramaFever has come a long way since we launched out of my apartment three years ago. We loved Korean dramas, but it was inconvenient to track down videos and subtitles to enjoy them online, not to mention guilt about breaking the law (yikes!). It seemed like the world needed a service where fans could legally enjoy international TV shows on demand with subtitles in a fun, community-oriented environment. Such a service didn’t exist at the time, so we created DramaFever and took the startup plunge without knowing a whole lot more!

I can’t thank you enough for sticking with us as we grew DramaFever from a simple idea into what it is today: a community of over 3 million passionate fans who have enjoyed over 5 billion minutes–and counting– of great TV dramas.  Along the way, we’ve had our share of growing pains and technical challenges, and you were patient with us as we figured things out. We wouldn’t exist today without the support of our community, and our product wouldn’t be what it is without your thoughtful feedback.

There were only five of us when we launched, and today there are 40 people obsessing about how we can improve the DramaFever experience for our users.  We want you to see the world through TV shows and pop culture. Today we have the largest online library of Korean TV shows outside of Asia, and we’ll always have the best that Korea has to offer. However, we also want to give you the option to enjoy the best of other countries. To that end, we’re committed to curating great shows from throughout Asia, Latin America and elsewhere in 2013 and beyond. Just as important, we want you to experience these shows in a beautiful, delightful environment. Our recent redesign marks the beginning of a host of enhancements we will be rolling out throughout 2013.

All of us at DramaFever are grateful for your support, and we are fired up about building the best online entertainment destination around. With love and warmth, we thank you and wish a Happy New Year to you and your family!
