Biography

Maya Mishalska was born on the 8th of December, 1974 in Warsaw, Poland. At age six she began studying violin at the conservatory in his hometown Warsaw. Shortly thereafter, upon reaching Mexico, she continued her musical studies at the Faculty of Music of the University of Veracruz. It was there that she first was able to participate in experimental theater, performing in La casa de Bernarda Alba.

Her first big break came with her portrayal of the lead character from the movie Novia que te vea by Gita Shifter. This performance earned her a Premio Ariel. Since then, Maya Mishalska has participated in several soap operas including La sombra del otro, Tres mujeres, Dos hogares, and Mujer de madera. Maya speaks Castilian, Polish, English, French and Russian to a lesser extent.
