Biography

María de los Ángeles Lopez Segovia, better known as Lina Morgan, is Spaniard actress for cinema, theater, musical and television born in Madrid, Spain on March 20th, 1937. Throughout her career, she exceled interpreting comedy roles which were related with musical comedy and revue. Among the greatest performances that the actress did were in plays ¡Vaya par de gemelas!, Si al amor, El ultimo tranvía, and Celeste… no es un color.

In cinema, Lina Morgan participated and exceled in the movies La tonta del bote, La graduada, La descarriada, and Fin de semana al desnudo to name a few. In television she had a great impact with her performances in Compuesta y sin novio and Hostal Royal Manzanares which granted her three awards from TP de Oro for Best Actress. Lina Morgan was the lessee and owner of the Teatro La Latina from 1979 until 2010. Here Lina produced various of her most important plays.
