Theater actors, models, and K-pop idols are taking over TV screens all over South Korea! Everyone may love the new eye candy, and many of them are very talented too! However, there are times we miss the actors we watched in our very first K-dramas, or the ones who are just near and dear to our hearts because of one iconic role in the past.

Today, we will take a look at five handsome actors and see what they are up to today.

1. Lee Dong Wook

Audiences fell in love with Lee for his roles on seasons 2 and 3 in the the original School series. He really made an impact years later in the memorable shows My Girl and La Dolce Vita. Lee Dong Wook's new film The Beauty Inside was released in theaters in South Korea last month, and it premieres in theaters in the USA today. The story is about a man who wakes up in a new body every day, and he must find way to return to his own body. On October 26, the 33-year-old actor and Jung Ryeo Won will portray a couple in the upcoming tvN series Bubblegum, which you can watch exclusively on DramaFever!

2. Kang Ji Hwan

His role in the 2005 MBC daily series Be Strong Geum Soon shot him to super stardom, while his role as Hyun Ji Seok in 90 Days, Time to Love was unforgettable. In March, the 38-year-old veteran's film Heartbreak Hotel opened in theaters worldwide. The movie was about his character John falling in love with the girlfriend of a gang boss he saved.

3. So Ji Sub

He is beloved for popular dramas like I'm Sorry, I Love You and What Happened In Bali. This year, the 37-year-old actor returned to the small screen with a cameo appearance in Jeju Island Gatsby and the lead in web series One Sunny Day, and he has an upcoming starring role in the upcoming KBS series Oh My God alongside actress Shin Min Ah.

4. Gong Yoo

Everyone's One Fine Day and Coffee Prince crush has transitioned into films these days.  His film about a couple falling in love in Finland, titled A Man and A Woman, and For Busan, which centers around people trying to fight a virus outbreak in South Korea, are scheduled to be released in theaters this year. The 36-year-old heartthrob's period movie Secret Agent, which is about the plight of heroic cops fighting for Korea's independence, hits theaters next year.

5. Nam Goong Min

One of my very first K-dramas was the 2004 KBS daily series My Lovely Family starring Namgoong as the privileged Ahn Jin Kook. You may also remember him from the 2006 MBC hit series One Fine Day. This year, the 37-year-old actor played cold villain Kwon Jae Hee in Sensory Couple, following the departure from his virtual marriage to trot singer Hong Jin Young on We Got Married in March.
