Every time a new drama airs it seems a member from one of the many idol groups, has a significant role in the series. Many of us countdown the minutes in each episode until our idol bias makes their grand entrance on-screen. We love seeing them in K-dramas! They keep us glued to the screen every week. This year, has been very generours with K-Pop goodness because so many stars landed great roles.

Today, I decided to list eight of some of the most popular 2016 K-dramas starring your idol  bias.

1. Descendants of the Sun

One of the most popular K-dramas of the year featured SHINee's Onew in a supporting role. DOTS is rebooting this decade's Hallyu Wave, and the idol star is enjoying an increase in his already massive fanbase. Everyone loved the stellar soundtrack to this military/medical love story! It's too bad his band didn't contribute s song to the OST.

3. Cinderella and Four Knights

CNBlue's Jungshin plays one of the rich Kang Cousins in this unique re-telling of the Cinderella tale. The story is loosely based on Cinderella and Boys Over Flowers, but the classy idol gets plenty of screen time! From the very beginning, he is definitely the nicest and most caring cousin out of the three.

EXO's Baekhyun has been the cheerful and upbeat prince since episode one of the highly anticipated historical gem. Solo artist IU is the perfect Hae Soo! South Korean viewers are slowing warming up to Prince Wang Eun, his brothers and Hae Soo, but you helped the show rank number two last week on DramaFever. It already boasts one billion views in China! I hope IU is able to change his tragic fate so that Baekhyun can be around for several more episodes.
