Gorgeous idols are quickly taking over the acting world! Many popular recording artists decide to expand their career after years of singing, while some try out acting around their music debut. The hot celebrities on this list became household names as actors before their 21st birthday.

1.Miss A's Bae Suzy
She was only 16 years old when she starred in the mega hit school musical series Dream High. A year later, her popularity skyrocketed with the box office jewel Architecture 101. She became the go-to girl for commercials and a variety of TV dramas. Bae made millions as the CF Queen, and she even stole Lee Min Ho's heart.
The "Marshmallow" singer also made her grand mark in the acting world in Dream High. Even though she had a supporting role as Pil Suk, the then-17-year-old was nominated for a Best New Actress award from the KBS Drama Awards. She has been cast in leading roles ever since. Her star-studded Moon Lovers series premieres this fall.
3. A Pink's Jung Eun Ji
She was just 18 years old when the first episode of Answer Me 1997 premiered, and the rest is pretty much history. Her beloved Shi Won character paved the way for future female actresses to take the leading role in the popular sequels. She hasn't taken too many K-drama roles since then because she juggles her singing career and acting career (in movies and on stage). Fans were probably elated to see her in Cheer Up! last year.
He was in his late teens when he accepted his first supporting roles in 18 vs. 29 and Spring Waltz. Of course, the hot idol's acting career became extremely successful as the years went by. Even though he recently enlisted in the military, his role in She Was Pretty proves his career shows no signs of slowing down in the near future.
5. BtoB's Yook Sungjae
After starring in the tvN weekend series Plus Nine Boys, Yook hit flower boy status by portraying the annoying yet reliable Gong Tae Kwang in School 2015. He was only 19 years old in both productions. He is now a well-known virtual husband to Red Velvet's Joy on We Got Married.
The "Lion Heart" singer was only 17 years old when she landed a supporting role in 9 End and 2 Outs. Her career really jumpstarted with a leading role in the KBS daily series You Are My Destiny. South Korea's first love was only 18 years old when it first started airing. This year, the former CF Queen's Chinese series God of War, Zhao Yun premieres on Hunan TV.
He made his acting debut at the age of 19 in the 2010 KBS special Pianist. He may have seemed like an awkward teen in love, but ShaWols were dying to see more of their doe-eyed heartthrob on screen. Since then, he has starred on numerous variety shows and four K-dramas, including To The Beautiful You and Because It's The First Time.

He was just 17 years old when he starred in school musical Dream High 2. Since then, he has taken a few more supporting roles that continued to grow his fandom. This year, the "Confession Song" singer finally landed the leading role of Jo Min Shik in the upcoming movie Snowflakes.
When Dream High 2 premiered, the rookie 18-year-old actor was surprisingly cast in a main role. Following a supporting role in When A Man Loves, he reprised his leading man status again in the popular web drama Dream Knight.
