Jane Eyre is a fascinating love story about a young governess and a mysterious distinguished gentleman. The 2006 BBC miniseries brought author Charlotte Bronte's complicated characters and plot to life on the small screen. DramaFever will soon bring the riveting story directly to you incredible drama lovers.

Before the breathtaking tale premieres, I thought it would be a great idea to introduce you to some of the key players in the program. The following are seven stars you should definitely know before you tune in.

1. Ruth Wilson

She became the role of Miss Jane Eyre, an orphan who suffered a horrible childhood and eventually accepted a job as governess for a mysterious household. Wilson is 33-year-old Golden Globe winning actress. She has played in numerous productions on-screen and on-stage, including the following: Luther, Anna Karenina, Saving Mr. Banks, Agatha Christie's Marple, Anna Christie. However, it was her dynamic performance as Alison Bailey in the Showtime series The Affair that won her the Golden Globe for best actress.

2. Toby Stephens

The 46-year-old star took the role of the dark master of Thornfield Hall named Mr. Rochester. He falls in love with Jane, but his first marriage threatens their future together. In real life, Stephens is married to New Zealand actress Anna-Louise Plowman, and the loving couple have three children together. His extensive resume includes TV, film, theater, and audio credits. Stephens, who  received awards for his theater roles, has appeared in hit movies like Space Cowboys and Die Another Day. One of his award-winning theater roles was portraying Caius Marcius Coriolanus in the 1994 stage adaptation of Coriolanus.

3. Christina Cole

Cole plays the pretty yet arrogant woman, Blanche Ingram, who is engaged to Mr. Rochester. She is courted by Rochester on-screen, but off-screen Cole is a bachelorette. The 33 year old won the role of snotty step-sister Clarissa Payne in the 2003 movie What A Girl Wants alongside Pride and Prejudice's Colin Firth. Since then, she has starred in several well-known productions like Casino RoyaleJupiter Ascending, Doctor Who, and Emma.

4. Georgie Henley

Henley played the young Jane Eyre, who suffered the harsh treatment as a orphan in her aunt's home at Gateshead Hall and at Lowood School. The 20-year-old star has landed leading roles since her time on the dark mystery series Jane Eyre. She has starred in The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn TreaderPerfect Sisters, and The Sisterhood of Night. The award-winning actress is currently writing and directing her first short film, titled TIDE.

5. Lorraine Ashbourne

Ashbourne accepted the part of the elderly housekeeper Mrs.Fairfax at Thornfield Hall. Fairfax was a kind yet nosy widow who has a definite opinion about Jane and Mr. Rochester's relationship. The 54-year-old actress is a veteran in the entertainment industry with 27 years of experience. She has divided her time between stage and screen quite nicely. Some of her notable productions over the years have been OthelloDoctor Heart, King Kong and Lark Rise to Candleford. She has three children with her husband, actor Andy Serkis.

6. Cosima Littlewood

She played Jane's pupil Adele at Thornfield Hall. Adele was the impressionable French girl left in Mr. Rochester's care who proved to be somewhat of a challenge for Jane. Littlewood hasn't done much acting on screen. She appeared in the 2007 TV series Silent Witness, and prior to Jane Eyre, she performed in live theater productions. She speaks French, English, and Italian.

7. Claudia Coulter

Coulter chose to play the part of a  mentally disturbed Bertha Rochester. She is the first wife of Mr. Rochester, whose mental condition threatens the safety of the entire household. In real life, Claudia Coulter hails from Honduras, but she is known as an international model and actress. Besides Jane Eyre, the 36-year-old has appeared in several TV series, shorts, and a few movies. Mummy Autopsy,Trial & Retribution and The Death of Pentheus are just some of the projects she joined.
