Some K-dramas' main couples (or supporting ones) give us all the feels. We root for these couples no matter what obstacles they face! Even if it seems their relationships are doomed from the beginning, we can't help but have hope until the very last second of the finale. Today, I have listed eight couples from past and present K-dramas that seem to have nothing ahead of them but heartbreak.

WARNING: Spoilers ahead!

1. Shin Joon Young and No Eul (Uncontrollably Fond)

Not too long after they reunited after a rocky start in high school, No Eul's father was tragically killed, and Joon Young felt like he was guilty for the murder. Things only went downhill for the couple when Joon Young is diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in his late twenties.

2. Choi Yoo Jin and Jang Se Joon (The K2)

Yoo Jin went against her family's wishes to marry the man of her dreams, however, Se Joon loved another woman and only married Yoo Jin for upward mobility. His rise to the top included several affairs. Following the birth of a baby out of wedlock and many fights between the pair, they came to a tragic end during the series finale.

3. Hae Soo and Prince Wang Wook (Scarlet Heart: Ryeo)

Hae Soo was just a teen when the older married prince showed interest in her. Wang Wook not only cheated on his wife by falling for her, but he even wrote her a love letter to express his feelings. After his wife passed away, he only made matters worse by getting Hae Soo's hopes up by making false promises.

4. Go Dok Mi and Oh Jin Rok (Flower Boy Next Door)

Dok Mi was too much of a recluse when Jin Rok began to show interest in her. The fact that he couldn't bring her out of her shell only made things worse. His love for her was sweet, but he was a little too passive. He lost the girl because he kept his feelings to himself longer than necessary.

5. Kang Bok Gu and Cha Eun Seok (A Love to Kill)

Bok Gu only becomes Eun Seok's bodyguard to get revenge for his brother's death. He feels she is the reason his sibling is no longer on earth, so she must pay. You know how the story goes. They accidentally fall in love, but their romance is cut short by an untimely death.

6. Lee Sun Jae and Oh Hye Won (Secret Love Affair

Besides their 20-year age gap, the musical pair had another gigantic obstacle in the way of their love, Oh Hye Won's marriage. The future is never bright if one half of a couple is already married to another. Throughout their entire relationship, they had to sneak around in hopes of not getting caught. Of course, that didn't work out too well.

7. Kim Shin and Ji Eun Tak (Goblin:The Lonely and Great God)

Shin is desperate to end his immortal existence as a goblin, but the only way to do that is to marry a young priestess. Even though they may fall in love, most likely the goblin will die during the honeymoon.

8. Wang Yeo and Kim Sun (Goblin)

This couple's future doesn't seem to be too bright considering the fact that Wang Yeo is the grim reaper and Kim Sun is a human. I'm guessing he only met her because her end is near.

Which couple made you cry? Do you think the Goblin couples will surprise us and still give everyone the happy ending they deserve?
