K-dramas are filled with fantasy! Viewers love the action, romance, mystery and supernatural elements in each new series. Every now and then, your favorite show centers around an issue that eerily resembles real life. You may even wonder if your favorite writers are spying on you at times, because a few story-lines surprisingly mirror your life. I highly doubt the writers know your address, but I have found 10 dramas that resemble realty.

1. Scarlet Heart: Ryeo

Many of us have embarked on seemingly happy relationships with the wrong people only to find out our soulmate was someone else. We may not be living in the Goryeo Dynasty, but we can all relate to deceptive lovers full of promises. Hae Soo was deceived by Wang Wook's promises time after time, while Wang So was ready to deliver. She could have saved herself so much heartache by avoiding him in the first place. The fact that he was married to her relative was a major red flag.

2. You're the Best, Lee Soon Shin

Lee Soon Shin endured a lot to become a star! However, the most relatable storyline in the series had to be when she was deceived by a fake agent. It's hard to trust in general, but it only makes matters worse when someone has to deal with that type of nonsense early in life. Her father's untimely death and that fake entertainment representative seemed to be more than one person could handle.

3. Cheese in a Trap

Stalkers are real! Hong Seol's encounters with her creepy stalker sent chills up viewer's spines. Art imitated life when it dealt with a serious crime people in the public eye face from time to time. Whether you are a celebrity or a customer service representative, you probably understood Hong Seol's hardship.

4. Flower Boy Next Door

It's very rare for a neighborhood to be filled with eye-catching flower boys. However, if we all look around, I'll bet there is that one Oh Jin Rok that is loving us from afar too. Not to mention, Go Dok Mi's one-sided crush on that one hot neighbor is so like us! Some of the elements of the series were a tad extreme, but the basic storyline was very relatable.

5. Lie to Me

No one is immune to jealousy. When all your family and friends are getting hitched, a small part of you may want to lie that you are headed down the aisle too. Gong Ah Jung allowed us to live vicariously through her when she pretended to be married to a handsome rich guy to show up the friend who stole her college love. She also demonstrated how everything can go wrong if you try to live a lie.

6. Pretty Man

Let's face it, there is a little bit of Kim Bo Tong in all of us. Long term unrequited love is a given, but the ability to finally tame a playboy is remarkable! The way she won him over is K-drama magic. Nonetheless, there are plenty of real-life examples of people marrying or maintaining long-term relationships with former bad boys or players. Kim Bo Tong is just another one of our unlikely heroes.

7. She Was Pretty

We all have bad hair days and times when we don't feel attractive. Shin Hyuk and Ji Sung Joon's love for Kim Hye Jin was a perfect example of inward beauty shining through. I think she was pretty before and after her makeover, but She Was Pretty helped us to not be so hard on ourselves. The message was simple and clear. Despite our insecurities, there is always someone out there falling in love with how beautiful we are inside and out. We have all seen this happen in our lives.

8. School 2015

Most of us have been a victim of bullying. We may not have suffered as much as character Lee Eun Bi, but the pain we experienced as a result is all too real. She and her twin sister were like the ambassadors of hope to everyone who is searching for justice in a world full of bullying and cyber bullying. Of course, Eun Bi's life got a little brighter when two cute guys started fighting for her attention.

9. Oh My Venus

A new year comes with resolutions, and weight loss is always at the top of the list. Kang Joo Eun dealt with stubborn body fat that she was determined to lose. Especially after her long-term boyfriend dumped her for a another woman who looked like a model. Unfortunately, her personal trainer was hiding his own secrets which include a health problem. Many can relate to these real life issues

10. Thumping Spike 2

Han Da Woon's situation may have transformed into a Cinderella-like tale in later episodes, but it wasn't like that in the beginning. Early on, athlete Dong Hae Sung was only looking out for himself, and he wanted to use intelligence to get passing grades in school. Volleyball captain Go Yi Ra was determined to use any method to get pro-athlete Hae Sung to join his losing sports team. They both wanted to take the easy route. They aren't any different than your fellow high school/college classmates.
