You will have to wait a little bit longer to see Kim Soo Hyun's handsome face on the small screen again. Following his successful My Love From Another Star series, the star has been laying low all year. Since February, Kim has been contacted for numerous productions in South Korea and overseas.  His fan meetings and endorsement deals have kept the popular actor busy while he has been on a drama hiatus. However, the eccentric starring role on the upcoming drama Doctor Frankenstein caught his eye in October, but today his agency announced that he will be declining the role.

"We declined the offer for Doctor Frankenstein a month ago. We haven′t decided on any projects yet," his KeyEast representative told Newsen.  They added,  "We are looking for the best project that fits perfectly with the character, story, and even timing. Because his last series was so popular, it is hard to pick the next one....He really loves acting, and he is the type of person who will carefully choose his projects. It will take a while....We are aiming to choose a new project in the next year and showcase a different image."

Dr. Frankenstein is about a doctor with a multiple personality disorder. His cold persona warms up when he falls in love.

Kim Soo Hyun played alien Do Min Joon in SBS's hit drama My Love From Another Star.
