Following reports last September of being romantically involved with a businessman, Bada of S.E.S. just announced on social media yesterday that she was indeed in love, and will be getting married to her boyfriend at a ceremony in a Seoul cathedral on March 23rd.

The days of being the only single lady in S.E.S. are over for Bada (Choi Sung Hee) as she prepares to tie the knot with her much-younger 28-year-old boyfriend, a franchise restaurant owner nine years her junior. Having met at a church in Hanman-dong, the two have been serious about their relationship for quite some time, but according to Bada, marriage was postponed due to her commitments to S.E.S. and their reuniting at the end of last year. But now, the wait is over, and the two lovers will finally be able to wed in just a few more months, as explained by Bada to her fans through a handwritten note on her Instagram account. "Through the support of family and friends, the preparations for my boyfriend to become my husband have been completed. As time passed, the two fairies [S.E.S. members] got married and I remained a “miss” for quite some time. I am now revealing the news that I pushed back due to S.E.S. reuniting."

After disbanding in 2003, the three members of one of Korea's first truly successful female K-pop groups all went their separate ways, finding success in their solo careers in entertainment. Bada has released solo albums and been a musical star ever since, having starred in 10 musicals and even winning Best Actress at the Musical Awards and playing Carmen in Korea's first-ever production of the musical of the same name. With her career path solid as a rock, and now with her marriage to her beloved boyfriend, life is looking pretty good for one of K-pop's original girl stars.
