Thanks to a joint effort between Washin Optical and Studio Ghibli, you can now own an official pair of Porco Rosso sunglasses. The hip sunglasses were worn by the titular character of the 1992 Studio Ghibli classic film and come in two distinct styles.

The first style is the "Period Piece Model," and the second is the "Standard Model." The first is based more on the sunglasses of the early 20th century, while the second features a more modern style with nose pads and ear pieces.

The glasses do tend to run on the expensive side, with the "Period Piece Model" running around $480 and the "Standard Model" around $280. I do think that die-hard Porco Rosso fans will spare no expense to own a piece of the masterpiece Ghibli movie.
