Kim Yoo Jung is a veteran! The 16-year-old actress has been part of the entertainment industry since she was a toddler. After starring in a biscuit commercial in 2003, the Love Cells 2 star quickly transitioned into movies and TV. She scored small roles on numerous productions, but a few of them stand out among the rest for popularity with the viewing audience.

The list below names a few of the productions that instantly became viewer favorites. 

1. The Moon that Embraces The Sun

Kim portrayed the young Wol / Heo Yeon Woo in the 2012 MBC series. She was a shaman who eventually became entangled in a love triangle between two princes. The historical series reached over 40% in the ratings towards the middle of its initial airing. 

2. Iljimae

This South Korean Robin Hood tale became an instant hit series when it premiered on MBC in 2008. She was the child version of Eun Chae's character. Han Hyo Joo shone in the role, but you remember the adorable little Kim Yoo Jung, right? 

3. Hwang Jin Yi

The $7.2 Million production won Best Music and Best Costume Design honors at the 45th Daejong Film Awards. She accepted the part as the younger version of Hwang Jin Yi in the 2007 film starring Song Hye Kyo. Her fandom must have soared after being part of the well-known story of a girl with noble ties choosing to be a gisaeng.

4. Painter of the Wind

In 2008, South Korea's little darling played a young Yoon Bok in the story about a cross-dressing female entering the Academy of Painting. The MBC melodrama was award winning and had a all-star cast with Moon Geun Young, Park Shin YangMoon Chae Won and Bae Soo Bin among many others!

5. Love Cells

This 2014 web series was based on a popular webtoon by Kim Myung Hyun. Kim took on the starring role of Nebi, a magical "love cell" who takes the form of a cat. She does her best to bring together a guy and his pop-star love.
