South Korean television dramas hold the key to happiness. These international productions make us laugh, cry and cheer at the spur-of-the-moment. I'd say they have been trending topics in many viewers' lives well before the internet even existed. This year has brought us some unforgettable stories we can't help but share with the world.

Today, I have listed seven reasons why 2017 K-dramas should have no problem going viral online.

1. A-list actors join forces to make epic shows.

Park Bo Young, Park Hyung Sik and Ji Soo are beloved actors who lit up the small screen this winter in Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. Even though it was a cable series, the ratings skyrocketed in South Korea and here on DramaFever as well. If that's not a reason to go viral globally, I don't know what is! Suzy and Lee Jong Suk's pairing in While You Were Sleeping should be a little piece of heaven in September too.

2. South Korea is the King of Remakes.

Jeon Ji Hyun and Cha Tae Hyun's 2001 hit film My Sassy Girl was given a genius makeover this year. They knew it was almost impossible to beat the original, so they decided the remake needed a historical flair. Gorgeous cinematography and a stunning wardrobe make this production visually pleasing as well as entertaining. Stars Joo Won and Oh Yeon Seo are doing an amazing job.

3. They time travel for love.

In Tomorrow With You, Yoo So Joon started out time traveling to better his own life, but he eventually decided to take his supernatural trips to benefit his wife's present and future. He did everything in his power to save her from an untimely death. Husband goals!

4. The princes are hunks.

We already knew Park Hyung Sik and Yoo Seung Ho were gorgeous before they took on their recent historical roles, but when they transported back in time we all swooned. Hwarang and Ruler: Master of the Mask hooked us from episode one! We can't wait to move to their kingdoms and use hashtags.

5. Twice a week K-dramas have finally evolved into 30 minute episodes.

We all love good hour-long episodes, but sometimes there aren't enough hours in the day! With the new 30 min episodes, you can enjoy a complete episode during half of your lunch hour, a long break and even on your train/bus commute to and from work. Ruler: Master of the Mask and Love In Trouble are fresh dramas breaking new ground.

6. K-dramas are bringing sexy back.

If you miss the heartthrobs of the 1990s ,The Best Hit is for you. Actor Yoon Si Yoon feels your pain, because he portrays a hot idol from the 90s who accidentally falls into 2017. He meets a idol wannabe and the present changes for the better. Yoon Si Yoon and his co-star Kim Min Jae are pretty sexy, right?

7. South Korean dramas are forever addictive.

From the heartbreaking love story in Saimdang: Lights Diary to the action-packed thriller Circle: Two Worlds Connected, writers know how to hook us and not let go until the final episode. The variety of genres to choose from is so immense.... you can't stop watching! When one series ends, you are anxious to get your next binge watching weekend started.

That's my list! Why do you think 2017 K-dramas deserve to go viral this year?
