This fall, Idols are heating up the stage with jaw-dropping comebacks we absolutely love. After we listen to their new albums and wait for the next round of weekly music shows, the thought of celebrating their return with a K-drama, movie or music fest show probably crosses your mind. You probably wonder what type of productions have some of your active idols starred in. Today, I listed several of your biases K-productions on Dramafever that will get you even more excited for their comebacks and ready for another weekend of representing the fandom.
1. GOT 7
After selling out venues globally, the guys are focusing on their hometown IGOT7s this month. The JYP Entertainment powerhouses are currently promoting the "Hard Carry" single from their Flight Log: Turbulence album. These boys have been delighting us since their pre-debut days. JB and Jinyoung shined in Dream High 2. The entire group made a big splash in the mobile drama world with Dream Knight a year after their debut. Jinyoung returned to solo acting in My Love Eun Dong, and he starred alongside JB again in When A Man Loves.
The incredible songstress recently returned to the music scene with the song "Home" from her A New Empire album. She has blown us away on stage and screen since her debut acting role in Dream High 2. You can enjoy more of her amazing live performances on DramaFever's K-Pop specials like the KCON 2016 Concert, The 25th Seoul Music Awards and the 2015 SBS Awards Festival.
In the middle of last month, the beloved boy band started their promotional activities for the single "The Eye" from their Infinite Only album. Awhile back, we were all entranced by their engrossing film GROW: Infinite's Real Youth Life, but it's definitely Hoya's iconic role in Answer Me 1997 that put a spotlight on the talented groups acting ability. L's extensive acting resume is very impressive. His list of dramas includes Shut Up Flower Boy Band, Sly and Single Again and My Lovable Girl. Woohyun and Sungyeol decided to star in High School-Love On together.
FNC Entertainment delighted us again with a debut of this refreshing new boyband last week. SF9 just started promotions for their debut single "Fanfare" from their single album Feeling Sensation. The entire group made their acting debut this spring in Click Your Heart, but the youngest member Chani was already a veteran in the acting world. You may remember the 16 year-old best in Signal and playing the younger version of Ja Kyung in Hwajung.
5. A Pink
Since last month, the lovely girls have been marketing the "Only One" single from their Pink Revolution album. Members Naeun and Eunji made the most memorable acting footprints to date. Naeun was recently apart of the K-drama gems Cinderella and Four Knights and Twenty Again, while Eunji won K-drama viewers over with fan favorites Cheer Up and Answer Me 1997.
The popular veterans are currently in the middle of publicizing the title track from their eighth album 1 of 1. Many of the members have expanded their successful singing careers into acting. Minho jump-started it with several productions like To The Beautiful You and Because It's The First Time. Taemin did some guest starring roles, while Onew became a household name thanks to this year's mega hit Descendants of the Sun. Key finally made his TV acting debut in Let's Drink. Of course, you can always catch their stellar performances on the I AM movie and several of last year's award shows and fests.
Last month, the idol beauties released their magical EP Spell and started promotions for the singles "Mr. Potter" and "The Love". Besides members of the group joining I.O.I for a season after appearing on Produce 101, the girls haven't had too much time to star in K-dramas. Member Jung Chae Yeon is the first to star in a TV series with her breakout role alongside SHINee's Key in Let's Drink.
