YouTube stars Michelle Phan, Ryan Higa, Megan Nicole, Bethany Mota, and many others have caught my attention over the years because of their ability to capture an audience. They have used their skills in cosmetology, comedy. singing, and fashion to win over millions of people around the world.

If they can do it, why can't our favorite South Korean stars try it too?  So, I decided to compile a short list of the best South Korean celebrities suited for possible YouTube stardom.

1. Choi Ji Woo

She is the queen of the Hallyu Wave. Her 2002 K-drama Winter Sonata went viral all over the world and put South Korean entertainment on the map. Plus, she has kept herself relevent in the industry with sizzling dramas like Temptation and by dating cute actors. Her relationship with Lee Jin Wook is unforgettable.

2. Gu Hye Sun

She is a powerhouse! The Angel Eyes actress rose to super stardom inBoys Over Flowers and carved out her own path by starting a production company. Gu continues to expand her career by singing and authoring books.

3. Kim Soo Hyun

Kim has been on fire since playing Song Sam Dong in Dream High. Following his lovable country boy role in 2011, Kim has starred in a string of successful TV dramas and stole hearts once again in My Love From Another Star. Who else is excited to see him portray PD Baek Seung Chan in Producer

4. SHINee's Lee Taemin

I'm a big SHINee fan (aka ShaWol)! I try to keep up with as many SHINee-related activities as possible. Many K-pop fans know Taemin is considered one of the cutest members of the popular boy band. I hate picking favorites because I think they are all equally adorable, but something tells me viewers of YouTube would prefer looking at his cute face over and over again. In addition, Lee is an incredible dancer, a powerful vocalist, and he has one of most likable on-screen personalities in K-pop.

5. Taecyeon

Besides being 2PM's talented rapper and the best We Got Married husband of all time, Taecyeon looks like an Asian Ken doll. The Who Are You actor can easily win viewers over with his appearance and acting ability. I know I can't be the only one who watched the 2011 Japanese TV drama 99 Days With A Superstar just to get a glimpse of him.

I want to hear from you. Who else should be added to this celebrity list?
