1,600 papier mâché pandas have invaded Korea! This endearing exhibition is part of the 1600 PANDAS+ Project and is targeted to raise awareness for panda conservation and protection. These adorable figures represent the remaining 1,600 pandas around the world.

Originally started in 2008 by the French artist Paulo Grangeon, this special series in Korea is hosted by Lotte Department Store. The figurines have been traveling throughout Korea, making stops at many famous landmarks including Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Seoul City Hall, and the Sejong Center.
