Halloween will be here in just a few days, which means that the time for coming up with costume ideas is really coming down to the wire. If you're still not sure what to be for Halloween, why not pull inspiration from your favorite K-dramas? Sure, most people might not get the reference, but maybe that's an incentive to throw a full-blown K-drama Halloween party of your own! Last year, we offered some costume ideas from classic K-dramas, so this time around, we're looking at costumes from this year's crop of shows. We are also going to have a K-drama Halloween costume contest this week, so these suggestions can spark your creativity!

1. Blade Man

Please, please, someone be Blade Man for Halloween. You can make some spikes out of tinfoil and poke them through an old suit coat. If nothing else, it's sure to be a conversation piece. "I'm Blade Man. He's this K-drama character whose emotions make knives grow from his body...." Boom. You won't have to worry about making boring small talk for the rest of the night.

2. Boarding House No. 24

Okay, so this is just an excuse to purchase an octopus hat. Who doesn't need an octopus hat? I mean, just look at it!

3. Running Man

Group costumes are the best, but convincing your lazy friends to wear group costumes is the worst. Problem solved! Now you can feel cool and organized with your Running Man posse, and your lazy friends can just toss on a colorful track suit and pretend they are wearing pajamas all night. Win-win. Other track suit options from last year's list include Rooftop Prince and Secret Garden. That's three years of comfy costumes with one suit!

4. Heirs

Grab any sweater from your grandma's closet, and you can be a chaebol for a day! Plus, once your ugly sweater Christmas party rolls around, you'll already be set.

5. Answer Me 1994

Overalls! Suspenders! Oversized shirts! Turtlenecks under cardigans! Flat top hair! Basically, you can take your pick of '90s fashion to pull this one off. If people question your costume choice, you can always just pretend you're from another '90s show, like Saved By the Bell or something.

6. Greatest Marriage

I feel like pregnant women are always trying to come up with clever costume ideas to embrace the baby bump. Well, here you have the Juno of K-drama costumes. The expectant mother can feel great while wearing some sort of chic outfit, while the dad-to-be can wear any one of Tae Yeon's over-the-top outfits, like his chef uniform or the "Lonely" shirt. Just promise you won't actually act like any of the characters on this show, okay?

7. Bride of the Century

If you're into the classic horror look, this ghost from Bride of the Century is perfect! A pale face, dark hair or wig, dark eyeliner, red lips, and a white gown are all you will need to sneak up on the people around you.

8. Joseon Gunman

If you have always dreamed of being a hardcore stealth warrior, then this is the costume for you! Tons of drapey black fabric and a sword will get you the look, but we can't guarantee you'll look as cool as Lee Joon Ki

9. Marry Him If You Dare

If you can find an old-school crimping iron, it would be ideal for getting this hairdo. After that, you just need some dumpy clothes, and you're all set! Sadly, Lee Dong Gun and Jung Yong Hwa not included.

10. Doctor StrangerEmergency Couple

If you find that crimping iron, you can put it to great use with these costumes because apparently, all hot young doctors have crimped hair these days? Pair your lab coat with some ripped jeans and a casual shirt for Doctor Stranger or use some purple scrubs and go as a group for Emergency Couple. Again, this is one of those convenient costumes that still works even if you're around people who don't watch dramas.

Do you have any other ideas for K-drama-inspired costumes? Share your thoughts in the comments below! We are going to be holding a K-drama costume contest later this week, so stay tuned for details and start making plans now!
