The last few weeks have brought some exciting casting stories with quite a few actors returning to K-dramas after a break.  Hyun BinHan Ye Seul, and Shin Ha Kyun all announced their upcoming comeback dramas, which gives us hope that some of our other favorites will come back to the small screen soon. Here is a wish list of some of our favorite K-drama actors who have been missing from the drama world for too long:

( Note: For this list, we included actors who haven't been in a drama since 2012 or earlier, meaning that their break has been at least two years.)

1.  Gong Yoo

If you don't count his brief cameo in  Dating Agency: Cyrano (and I most certainly do NOT), his last starring role was in Big in 2012. We know that he's busy making movies for the big screen, but we can't help but wish he would take a break to play the lead in a nice romance.

2.  Shin Min Ah

The delightful Shin Min Ah hasn't been in a series since 2012's Arang and the Magistrate, but she has her romantic comedy film My Love My Bride with Jo Jung Suk coming out this month. Frankly, that sounds like my dream pairing, so once they take a vacation or something, they could reunite for a drama!  In the meantime, you can see the costars in this recent episode of Running Man.

3.  T.O.P.

T.O.P. keeps himself pretty busy with music and movies, including the recently released Tazza 2, but it's been a long five years since his role in Iris, and we would love to have his smooth voice and amazing eyebrows gracing Dramaland once more.

4.  Kim Sun Ah

Kim Sun Ah has incredible star power, and she's played a variety of different drama roles over the years. Sadly, we haven't seen her in a drama since  I Do, I Do in 2012.

5.  Lee Wan

It feels like Lee Wan fell off the face of the earth once he enlisted in the army in 2010. His last television drama was  Swallow the Sun in 2009, though he did have a role in a web series in 2013, and he has said that he is working on resuming his career. Let's get this guy back on the screen where he belongs!

6.  Im Soo Jung

If we're going to talk about long breaks from the drama world, Im Soo Jung takes the cake. Her last drama was I'm Sorry, I Love You way, way back in 2004. The talented actress seems to have no intentions of returning to dramas in the near future, but we can all hope, right? I mean, just look at how captivating she is in this music video for Nell's "White Night":

7.  Choi Siwon

K-dramas have missed Siwon's abs acting since his last role in The King of Dramas. We hope to see more of his abs acting soon.

8.  Kim Ah Joong

Last week's DramaFever Movie Night movie  Steal My Heart is a great reminder that Kim Ah Joong hasn't been in a drama since 2011's Sign. If you missed Steal My Heart, check it out below:

9.  Kim Nam Joo

Kim Nam Joo has two Daesang awards under her belt for her last couple of dramas, 2010's  Queen of Reversals and her 2012 ratings hit My Husband Got a Family. We love that this talented actress bucks the trend of mostly hiring young women for leading roles, and we hope to see her starring in another drama soon.

10.  Song Joong Ki

Yes, we know he's doing military service, but as long as we're daydreaming, we might as well put this out there. Song Joong Ki will be discharged in May 2015 (Only seven more months—but who's counting?), and hopefully we can see him headlining a new drama shortly after his release. While we're at it, we should also mention  Yoo Seung Ho, who will be discharged in December of this year, and Lee Min Ki, who only started his military service a few months ago, which makes us sad because we already miss his talent in dramas.

So there's our wish list. What's yours? Which actors have you been missing from the small screen? Comment below!
