1. Dating Agency: Cyrano

Light and airy, this entry into tvN's Flower Boy series is perfect to chase away cloudy skies. Its episodic format keeps the pace moving, and constant star cameos make the show feel like a fun game.

2.  Heartstrings

Jung Yong Hwa and Park Shin Hye will warm your heart as college students who fall in love over music. For those who wished Yonghwa got the girl in You're Beautiful, this is an added bonus!

3.  My Unfortunate Boyfriend

If you like following along with fun new shows, look no further!  No Min Woo will win your heart as the naive and bumbling boyfriend in this bright comedy.

4.  Modern Farmer

You will laugh until your sides hurt with this ensemble comedy.  Lee Hong Ki was made for the role as a rocker who moves to the middle of nowhere with his band members.

5.  My Lovely Sam Soon

Sam Soon is the ultimate classic feel-good romantic comedy.  Kim Sun Ah and Hyun Bin are sure to brighten your day with one of my favorite K-drama plot devices: the fake relationship.

6.  Flower Boy Ramen Shop

Another delightful entry in tvN's Flower Boy series, this comedy about a young woman and the four flower boys who help her run her father's ramen shop is the perfect lightweight story to make you feel like you're on vacation!

7.  My Girlfriend is a Gumiho

The Hong Sisters are known for writing zippy, fluffy romances, but this one happens to be my personal favorite.  Shin Min Ah's presence is like a light summer breeze in this fantastical series about a mythical nine-tailed fox who takes human form and the hapless man who helps her.

8.  Coffee Prince

If I imagine rainbows and sunshine and fluffy clouds in K-drama form, the result is Coffee Prince. Okay, so maybe that's a bit extreme, but there's a reason this 2007 series is so beloved by K-drama fans, and nothing screams "summer vacation" like sitting down to re-watch this favorite.

9.  Summer Scent

Okay, so this one is a melodrama instead of a happy fluff show, but if you put "summer" and "K-drama" into the same sentence, you have to include this entry into the 4 Seasons series. Enjoy some early work from  Song Seung Hun and Son Ye Jin, but don't forget to grab your hankies!

10.  Running Man

Need a bit of sunshine but don't have time for a full drama? Pick basically any episode of Running Man to fill your day with laughs! The nice thing about Running Man is that you can choose an episode guest starring your favorite actors, like this new episode with Yonghwa, Hongki, and Jung Il Woo:

Those are just a few of my go-to summer shows, but there are tons more! Which shows do you watch to give you the refreshing feel of summer? Don't forget to check out the  K-pop Summer Jams playlist to add some music to our summer dramas.
