New dramas The Night Watchman's Journal and Mysterious Summer both have one thing in common: they include creepy twists of fantasy. For those who enjoy supernatural elements in dramas, adding a ghost or ghoul can put a unique spin on a conventional story and give it a bit of a spooky vibe. Not enough to really scare you outright, but enough to give the show a little edge. For fans of the fantastical, here are 10 spooky supernatural dramas:

1. The Master's Sun

For the most part, this was a lighthearted romcom, but with a premise based around a woman who sees ghosts, this show has its fair share of creepy moments, as well. This ghost doll, for example, was enough to give me nightmares.

2. Arang and the Magistrate

Demons, ghosts, and the eerie ghost chasers all create dramatic tension in this tale about a ghost (Shin Min Ah) trying to solver her own murder and the only human who can see her (Lee Joon Ki).

3. Who Are You

A detective (So Yi Hyun) wakes up from a six-year coma only to discover that she can see ghosts! These ghosts are mostly sad rather than scary.

4. Secret Investigation Record

Based on actual cases from Korean history, this drama follows a government inspector as he hunts down all kinds of supernatural phemonena.

5. Bride of the Century

The ghost in this series is one of the highlights of the show. She goes from sassy to murderous in an instant, always keeping the audience guessing about her true intentions.

6. Vampire Prosecutor (seasons 1 and 2)

The title is pretty self-explanatory. He's a vampire who also fights crime. It's the OTHER vampires you really need to worry about.

7. Aftermath

In this thrilling web series, a high school student suddenly develops the ability to recognize people who will die soon as well as people who are about to become murderers.

8. Gu Family Book

Choi Jin Hyuk and Lee Seung Gi both seem like such sweet guys--until you get on their bad side. Watch out for their angry gumiho beast faces!

See Kwon Sang Woo and Choi Ji Woo reunited on the screen in the scandalous melodrama Temptation

9.The Night Watchman's Journal

This series promises all kinds of fantastical fiends, including, but not limited to, this dragon from episode 1:

10. Mysterious Summer

It's unclear so far whether there is a supernatural cause behind the strange occurrences in this upcoming drama, but if the trailer is any indication, it will be supremely spooky either way!

BONUS: Padam Padam

The supernatural element of this drama (Kim Bum as a guardian angel) isn't really frightening at all. Instead, it's a bonus because in spite of the fantasy, it's the characters themselves who create fear and tension throughout the drama.
