The new Korean drama The Prime Minister and I premiered this week, and it looks like a winner so far! As if the combination of the ever-hilarious Lee Bum Soo, the sassy Yoona, and the swoon-worthy Yoon Si Yoon wasn't enough to sell this drama, it also features a tried-and-true K-drama plot point: the fake romance. Who doesn't love a drama where two people are forced to pretend that they're in love (and then really fall in love in the process)? In honor of this new series, let's take a look at ten of the best fake-it-till-you-make-it K-drama relationships:

1. Full House

This one's a classic for a reason! Okay, so the whole reason for the forced marriage is a little ridiculous (Wait, how did her friends manage to sell her house without her permission again? Also, I don't care if they're having a baby--send them to jail!), but the outcome is worth it. Without the marriage contract, we couldn't have so many cute scenes of this couple playing house!

2. Lie to Me

Chalk this one up as another case of ridiculous reasoning. When it's easier to fake a marriage AND a divorce rather than tell your friends about your life, you know it's time to find new friends. Even though the relationship started out as a lie, there was nothing fake about those kisses! *Drops mic

3. My Lovely Sam Soon

I'm pretty sure that most people would volunteer to date Hyun Bin for free, but not sassy Sam Soon! Here's another classic in the fake relationship category that warms our hearts every time we think about it.

4. Dalja's Spring

In this drama, it's the woman who decides to take charge and hire a fake boyfriend. Of course, this all leads to a love triangle--pretty much our favorite thing ever!

5. Prosecutor Princess

Okay, so this plot point only lasted like twenty seconds before Hye Ri ran off to clear up the misunderstanding, but those twenty seconds were filled with Park Shi Hoo kissing, so who's complaining? His excuse? He was just trying to help her make the other guy jealous! Those were totally lips of friendship, guys. Best. Neighbor. Ever.

6. Haeundae Lovers

Mobsters! Amnesia! Prosecutors! And one fake relationship thrown into the mix. Something for everyone!

7. Mary Stayed out All Night

It's a rough life when you have to fake marry one hottie to avoid really marrying another one. Poor, poor Mae Ri.

8. Coffee Prince

With all of the romance in Coffee Prince, it's easy to forget that the whole thing began when Han Kyul hired Eun Chan to act as his fake gay boyfriend to get out of a few blind dates. Without that fake relationship, who knows if Eun Chan would have posed as a boy in the first place? But we're so, so glad she did.

9. My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho

You have to hand it to the Hong Sisters. With the whole "fox bead" thing, they definitely came up with one of the most original reasons for a fake K-drama relationship! Lee Seung Gi's Cha Dae Woong was definitely the most terrified fake boyfriend on this list, which made it even cuter when he started to fall for his supernatural girlfriend.

10. Goong

The marriage was real, but the feelings were fake at first. Just in case anyone has gotten confused while reading this list, let me just make this clear: no matter what all of these dramas claim, marrying and then divorcing someone is NOT a good way to deal with financial problems! Got it?
