Every K-drama has one, the official soundtrack (OST) that you can't get out of your head. These songs have spawned a thousand fan made music videos on YouTube, and some people (not naming names, but okay, me) may listen to their favorites on an infinite loop at work, much to the confusion of their uninitiated coworkers. Compiled below is an unofficial OST Must-Have List: Heartbreak Edition.

Feeling like you and your soul-mate are being ripped apart by time/circumstance/evil parents/evil step-parents? Have you lost something you can’t replace, like true love, or whole weekends spent binge watching K-dramas? Whatever the cause of your heartache, these songs are made for you. So sit back and turn up the volume so no one will hear you cry, or sing, along.

1. "Fight the Bad Feeling" (T-Max) - Boys Over Flowers

T-Max brings the sweet, sweet pain with this song (and you may recognize one of the F4 in this group). Besides being the kind of song that makes you want to rip your heart out, it also has an oddly catchy chorus. Before you know it you’ll be humming “doot-doo doot-doot-doo doot-doo-roo-doot-doot doot-doo pap-pa pap-pap-pa” through your tears.

2. "Don’t Forget Me" (Huh Gak) - Greatest Love

When you get to the chorus, the longing in the song will literally make your heart go thump, thump--eh, get what I did there? If you don’t know the “thump, thump” reference, then you have your next show to watch. Also, you’re welcome.

3. "Wind Blow" (Ga Yoon) - My Princess

Lesson learned from this song? Being a princess = pain. Kim Tae Hee, fighting!

4. "Back in Time" Lyn - The Moon that Embraces the Sun

I wish I could go back in time and listen to this song over and over again for the first time.

5. "Because I Miss You" (Jung Yong Hwa) - Heartstrings

Dear Jung Yong Hwa, I miss you too.

6. "That Woman" (Baek Ji Young) or "That Man" (Hyun Bin) - Secret Garden

Whether you prefer Baek Ji Young or Hyun Bin’s version, I think we can all agree that not even a shiny sequined jumpsuit can deflect the pain in this song.

7. "Suddenly" Kim Bo-kyung - City Hunter

I’ve never had to choose between revenge and love, but I imagine it is a lot like choosing between ice cream or napping--a choice no human should ever be forced to make. Evidence? This song.

8. "After A Long Time Has Passed" (Baek Ji Young) - Rooftop Prince

I can’t even. Just writing this is killing me. The way the song starts off with a whisper. The way the Rooftop Prince’s love is challenged by time, evil families, and dopplegangers. Why does feeling bad feel so good? Why? Why?

9. "Touch Love" (Yoon Mi Rae) - Master's Sun

Sometimes I replace all the words in this song with Joo Joong-won. Is that weird? Don’t answer that.

10. "Moment" (2AM) - Heirs

Love is the moment. Enough said.

11. "Lucky" Ashily - Boys Over Flowers

I know, I know, two songs from Boys Over Flowers? But the OST to this show is such a guilty pleasure. Sometimes, when I’ve lost my keys, I play this song and pretend that I am looking for a necklace Lee Min Ho gave me. No, I don’t really do that, but maybe I should.

12. Bonus Track: The Song You (Maybe) Wish that You Didn't Love Quite So Much

"Love Rain" (Jang Geun Suk) - Love Rain

It is different for everyone, but this song always makes me feel like I am the second male lead and I just keep coming back for more because I am a fool for love and rain.

So, there are still so many good, sad OST songs out there. What song(s) would you include in this list to make sure the tears never stop?
