Japan has the second-largest music industry in the world, so it’s no surprise that many Korean artists spend a lot of their time promoting in Japan as well. Fun collaborations take place and friendships form. Fans get to relish in these fandom collisions in the form of music, and, in the case of this post, photos!

1. BoA and Crystal Kay

In 2009, Boa was featured on Crystal Kay’s “Girlfriend.” BoA posted up this shot in 2011 when the two re-united.

U-KISS and Daichi Miura took this picture in 2012 when both acts performed at a-nation in Japan.

14. Trax and Yoshiki

I’m throwing this last one back to the year 2004! X-Japan’s Yoshiki produced Trax’s single “Scorpio.” On that same single, there is a cover of X-Japan’s “Tears” by the original lineup of the SM rock band. Some of you may recognize the blonde member “Rose,” as that is actor No Min Woo!
