New photos of practical jokers are uploaded and spread over social media daily, and the trend even has a name. "Part-timer terrorists" (baito tero) have become infamous for their pranks, even causing convenience stores and restaurants to close down out of shame.
While some of the pranks are relatively mild, all are seen as grossly disrespectful. Here are some of the photos that are driving Japanese society crazy.
